At the end, when Mr Pink runs away, you can hear sirens, also the police burst into the room seconds after he escaped, so it doesn't make sense that he escaped.

I'm pretty sure at the end of the movie, there is one too few gunshots for everyone who gets shot (But I haven't seen it in ages). And
if you listen carefully you can hear the cops arriving, which suggests Mr.Pink doesn't get away, but maybe he does shoot them first, but thats unlikely

I always thought Mr Pink got busted outside then opened fire on the police who then killed him?

White does shoot Orange, yes. And I don't think it's ever been confirmed what happened to Mr Pink actually. It was left unshown for a reason, probably so we can fill in the blank ourselves. Personally I like to think he got away, cause he's the best character.
I saw it lest week. White shot orange, because you heard one shot and a second later your heard several shots, that was the police shootingwhite.
