I loved the new game play changes and jump to then current-gen needs. It still had great atmosphere, a load of unlockables and different gameplay modes that kept it fresh. I just wish they could have stuck with the Virus created zombie instead of parasitic las plagas granados.
What the hell is current gen? I don't fucking understand this bullshit god fucking damnit I knew I shouldn't have looked on this forum now I am all PISSED OFF SHIT.

Resident Evil already have four player online play before Resident Evil 4 came out. That was pretty fucking impressive, but they decide to TAKE OUT MULTIPLAYER and make some fucking GENERIC AS SHIT third persons shooter LOL ORIGINALITY.

First off sounds like you could use some Quaaludes second I was talking more along the lines of graphics and sound quality third they had no online capability as it was a originally a gamecube game fourth I never compared it to another game in the series and finally which games are you talking about with four player online? The god awful ps2 abortions?

I think it is a good game. It has some good characters. I can forgive the quick time events.

I enjoyed it for its really great pacing, where it slowly ramps up the game action-wise and difficulty-wise throughout the story at an uphill rate, where zombies grow from being simple walking frankensteins to overpowered rocket-weilding juggernauts, environments range from simple peasant farms to exuberant castles, and clocks in as a long and enjoyable action game up until the climactic ending.

Excellent game. Just when the series was stagnating, at risk of becoming a relic, they revolutionised it in the most breathtaking way imaginable. One of my favourite games of last-gen, and probably of all time.

Definately, the bosses were about strategy rather than run and gun, the whole game has a strategic way to complete it. also with the shooting range, it breaks it up into a more fun environment

I wouldn't say it never gets old, but it sure was fun the first few times you play it. The weapon upgrade system was actually one of the better upgrade systems I've played with.

It's fun and all, but I was a little disappointed. I mean, it said "Horror" in the genre description. That game was FAR from scary.

Honestly, the only time I ever even jumped was when I turned the corner and had one of those Regenerating monster things. Damn near crapped myself.

Yeah, he regenerators did it for me too... but the wolves were also a bit scary when your not expecting them...

Wait, that was outside of the Church/Steeple thing, right?

Yeah, those fuckers were more irritating than anything. I guess dark, monotone environments don't really scare me when I'm packing enough ammo to supply a small army.

Go figure. That's why Silent Hill was actually scary; AMMUNITION? WHAT IS THAT
