Sorry to post this question but I am apparently rather stupid, I've finished RE5 and am half way through again but there is something I still don't quite understand. The saving.

I understand that Checkpoints are there so when I die it loads back from that point. Got it.
But when it says "Saving" does that mean I can turn the game off and come back to that point? or do I have to wait until it gets to the end of the chapter/section and shows me stats about accuracy etc?

Also for the guns with unlimited ammo (I'm not going to spoil how to get them for you) does it mean you can hold an unlimited amount? Or that you can always reload and have more ammo be there? Do I have to pick up the ammo or does it just appear in my Inventory?

Sorry for the questions but every time I'm playing they are just nagging at the back of my head kinda ruining the fun a little bit.

Thanks in advance :)

Well... When you got off and went back on the game, where did you start from? It will usually be the last saving point.

I just got the game, how many hours did it take you to complete?

And about the unlimited ammo, on the previous games you never had to reload.

So far I've only left after the end of chapters, just in case. But I'll just try and see what happens next time.

It took me about 10 hours maybe, but I was dawdling and trying to see everything that I could. So basically 10 hours if you're slow. :)

Never have to reload? Ok I must have set it up wrong or something.

Thanks mate

First question- Yes, when you turn off the game, you will start at that checkpoint.
Second question- There is no need to reload when you have infinite ammo.
