The hostile groups in RE-4 and 5 you faced were not 'technically' zombies, but rather infected individuals under the influence of madmen due to a 'virus', some mutated horribly into powerful mosters.

Anyway, after watching the trailers this game has already got me waiting in excitement as the zombie apocalypes once again falls upon a unsuspecting city that im sure is to do with biological weapons and experiments. I like the idea of bringing in the main characters of the earlier series though im sure new characters will be thrown in. Leon looks as if he's gone rogue and it looks as if chris is a lieutenant of a recon squad or a small strike force. Im glad they've brought back zombies and judging on the trailers it looks like they have mixed both ideas of zombies and major genetic mutations.

Infamous Scribble:
in 4 it was a parasite that had been kept hidden from the world in a tomb.
in 5 it was the same parasite upgraded with the virus plus albert wesker.

Keiran Fashan:
Yes I know this was a parasite. This parasite was known as 'Las Plagas' and was dug up by peasants working for Ramon salazar (Short guy in blue, owns castle), Ramon salazar wanted to redeem his family honour. Uroboros as you said was a enhanced version mixed with a virus I believe. This new parasite would decide if the host was worthy of its power, if the host was not worthy they would mutate I think. Zombies or not they tried to kill you in brutal ways and overall it was really fun!

P.S rhizhim:: I messed up with the quotes because I wanted to take a small section insted of the whole thing, so had to put your name above your quote insted of the normal box outline haha!!

Well this time i cant fault it on variety of enemies, in the announcement i identified Plagas, t-virus, a new Nemesis variant, and a G-virus variant.

Id like it to do well, but i crave more information before i can pitch a definite call.

It'll sweep the "logo that looks kind of like a giraffe" and "most creative six" categories, no doubt.

Seems fine. Not really going to argue about changes from old-style to new-style RE, as there are probably gonna be all sorts of whining about it in the coming months anyway.

Can hardly say much about it based on a three minute or so trailer, however.

All I know at this point is that Leon, Chris and the new merc guy (Alex Wesker?) will have their own separate campaign, and then Ada might be the fourth campaign after you beat Chris and Leon's scenarios.

If the above's true, I'd like to see how their stories intertwine and come together. Though to be fair, it's Resident Evil.

I expect camp, mock gravitas, and lulz... As well as having squishy zombies and BOWs that I can reduce to wonderful mush with roundhouse kicks and boomsticks.

I just hope they have the Mine Launcher in it. Impractical, sure, but hilarious.

I'm getting both operation raccoon city and RE 6. I'm hopeful that these games will try to go back to their roots and give me an expereince like the ones of RE 0-3. Seeing the trailers has sparked a RE marathon for me this weekend we're I have purchased RE 4 and some Re figures Enter the world of survival horror, also I miss Barry
