Well here it is, the trailer for the next Resident Evil film. Is it me or do they seem to take random elements of the games and try to wright a plot around them.
What do you think?
No it's not wrong i laughed all the way through my bloody valentine 3d. It's not jumpy or scary just funny rubbish.dragon_of_red said:Is it wrong of how much i laughed at all the epic token 3D parts? Cause there was soooo many.
They've done that for all the movies.sephiroth1991 said:Well here it is, the trailer for the next Resident Evil film. Is it me or do they seem to take random elements of the games and try to wright a plot around them.

Have you read George Remero's version of the first film http://www.dailyscript.com/scripts/resident_evil_romero.htmlAltheus_Necron said:They've done that for all the movies.sephiroth1991 said:Well here it is, the trailer for the next Resident Evil film. I especially like how in the second movie they took the canon storyline about the Nemesis and the S.T.A.R.S teams, loaded that storyline canon into an actual canon, fired it straight into the sun, and then got someone who clearly has never played any of the games before to write a script for the movie based of some notes on a cocktail napkin*
*DISCLAIMER - [small]This may or may not have actually happened, but I was really disgusted at how the second movie ignored the established back story in exchange fore karate motorbike fights in a graveyard. I also like to pretend that the third movie didn't actually happen, as I dislike the concept of psychic zombies even more than I dislike the concept of the aforementioned karate motorbike fight. I'm sure that the fourth movie will continue to rape the back story in such a way that people who have no idea what made the video games so much fun will cheer and high five each other in a very stereotypical bro movie type way. Wow this is a lot of text, it must not be easy to read a big wall of text like this, especially since I also shrunk the text size. On the other hand, I've also run out of things to type in this big wall of text, so I should probably stop soon. I realise this gag has been done in several different places before, I never promised original content. If it was such a bother to you you didn't have to read this far in. Wow this wall of text continues to grow. I don't think I'm ever going to repeat this joke, it's such a huge amount of effort, and it's probably made a few of you hate me by now.[/small]
Well seeing as the games abandoned the horror aspect, the movies may as well follow suit...Hubilub said:It looks so stupid!
Have they completely forgotten that this film franchise started of trying to be scary? Why has it suddenly become full-blown action?
Oh well, hopefully it will entertain me a little.

Yeah, when I read hub post, I thought the exact same thing. Its hard for the film not to do it if the games did it too.imahobbit4062 said:Much like the actual game series it is based off of?Hubilub said:It looks so stupid!
