So i just watched moviebobs review of resident evil afterlife(im a huge fan of the games)he thought that it was alright, not good but bearable, personally i think that movie was the biggest piece of crap ive ever seen i walked out of the theater and now i hear theyre making another one? hopeless. what do you guys think?

One thing you must do when watching them, blank out the fact that resident evil was ever a series of excellent although slightly degrading over time now games.
Watch the movies for individual merits and not for the link between movie and game. I did that the first time I watched them and absolutely despised them on every level.
Now that I watch them over again as completely seperate things, I can appreciate them more.

Afterlife was actually pretty good, and the others were decent watches.
As long as you don't associate them with the game series, their pretty decent films. It's the same as the DOOM film, don't compare it to the game series too much and it ain't a bad film.
