Sub-par, team play is either capture the flag type games, team death-match or a variation of it. COD4 was fun, but don't believe it's as good as some say, or you'll be sorely disappointed.

if you mean how your team work together then it depends who your with since COD has become popular lots of-sorry to use the word-noobs play who will kill you, block you, die all the time making you lose the match. if your meaning playing with your freinds on a team then COD does have a good system for that.

As in, whether you feel needed in your role and that overall the team has to work and function together, or if you are instead just a group of solo players grouped together.

No in COD most of the time everyone just works alone even in team games. if your still thinking of getting KZ2 or R2 id say that in KZ you work together a lot more and you feel more needed in your role.

But in all seriousness, Killzone is much better, I have both and I play killzone a lot more.

Resistance two is what i'd go with

Killzone 2 was amazing.

Then they patched killzone 2.

Now it loses

Killzone 2. While R2 was quite good, it gets beaten out by Killzone. My vote? Get both if you can.

I'm getting a PS3 next week and I'm the same position as well. I want to try out both games too but I'm trying to decide which one to rent first.

Once I play both I'll be able to pick one to play permanently.

ive only played resistance 2 and ive gotten bored of it they finally released that one map pack that no one uses
so id say go with killzone 2
