If this is a troll post then...

If your serious then it isn't hard to see why they bully you, stop trying to act like your better than everybody else.

All I have to see is old episodes of Beavis and Butthead and Sifle & Olly. Plus 90's music. I feel like an archaeologist discovering goddamn Atlantis.

Get over yourself kid. You're fourteen, stop acting like some all-powerful deity. The real world doesn't work like that; the world owes you nothing, even if you do claim to know everything about videogames. Which by the way is a REALLY useless skill.

And guess what? Have encyclopedic knowledge of ANYTHING and you'll be branded a nerd.

So let them enjoy their CoD and you your retro games. It only matters that you're having fun, right? If you can't bond with your friends over games, just pick something else to talk about. You do have hobbies besides gaming, right?

No offense but when when you say you "HATE COD" I'm sure that means you're very vocal about it, that might be a reason why. I love my classics but hating new games makes you no better than the guys who hate old games because they're 2D.

The fact will always be: older games will always be better than newer games.
Utter bullshit.

That irritating nostalgia is flaring up again. There were a ton of crappy older games. (E.T. anyone?)

Hell look at the Prince of Persia series. Who would rather sit down through the horrible mess that is Prince of Persia 3D than play Sands of Time?

Old ≠ Good

Good = Good
Old good games > New good games.

Better?

Well for one ... Tomb Raider is definately not the genesis of gaming ... not even remotely close. So there is that point. But either way, what does it matter? Will knowing alot about games get you that job you've been looking at? Probably not, so trust me its not that important. Worry about things that matter.

Define good?
I'd rather not...
After reading two 1 hour readings on the definition of good for my Metaphysics class and talking about it for an hour and a half in class, my definition is annoyingly philosophical and detailed...

I'd say a good game is a game that most people enjoy, and the reason that the people that don't enjoy it, is something stupid/irrelevant.

Starcraft 2, Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and Fallout, are good games.

Didn't it used to be about music videos?

OT: I hate every CoD except WaW and because I despise MW2 and Black Ops I get ostrachised (Spelling?) by some of my peers, but for the most part my friends agree with my gaming choices. Sometimes there is division because of fandom between gamers, dont let them get to you.

Do they even play music anymore?

OT: I tend to stick to the older media as a whole.
At the risk of sounding like some hipstertard, the majority of everything made after 2000~ has been pretty poor standard imo and will more than likely only get worse.
Although, that might just be me getting old.

Quit trying to be something your not. You know no more or less about video games then your every day average forum user. They make fun of you (probably) for having an annoying voice. Go through puberty and you won't feel the same way. Everyone goes through it.
I know one 14 year old guy whose voice hasn't broken, and he's about 5' tall.

You may want to update your preconceived image of what an age 14 boy is.
