Resting Hands

May you have difficulty getting to sleep thinking about this, unless you're an insomniac.

Anyway, random question number... Jupiter Optimus Maximus only knows, but I don't think he cares: how do you place your hands when you're sleeping?

By your sides? On your belly? Across your chest? Over your head? Answer away... -_-

I sleep on my front with my head turned to one side.

I tuck one arm into my chest with the hand half closed.

I fold the other arm under my head with the hand palm down on the pillow. (Fun fact: this often causes me to wake up with a numb arm and sometimes I end up drooling on my wrist. You're welcome.)

I have no idea why anyone would want to know this.

Uh, okay. I sleep on my left side with my left hand under my pillow. No, that's wrong. It's on my right side with- Wait, that's still wrong...

Can I just say that I don't really have a preference? It seems to be that way for me. -.-

So they can kill you in your sleep, easier, duh. They'll just approach from an angle you don't have an easy reach for.

OT: I usually rest one hand under the pillow, with the other next to my body at the front. I sleep lying my my side or more rarely, on my belly (in which case, I could have both my hands under the pillow. I don't sleep on my back, though.

I often wake up with my arms over my head and they are totally numb.
Or, they are stick under my dog becaus he likes to snuggle next to me and rest his chin on my hands.

I have two ways of sleeping . One is kn my side with one Arm stretched out under my head and the other along the side of my body. Or i sleep on my back with one arm covering my eyes and the other hand restig behind my head .

Like my position is constantly changing, so do my hands.

I can start off sleeping on my side so my hands will be up near my shoulders and chest area. Or I can be on my back and have one hand on my side and the other sort of near my head. When I sleep on my front, at least one hand is on my pillow with my face resting on it to then move under my pillow.

I can generally sleep on all four sides.

When I'm on my back I tend to have my hands down my shorts. Don't look at me like that, can I help it's comfy down there?!

When I'm on my front I sleep with my head to the left, my left hand under my pillow, and my right hand draped beside me.

When I'm on either side I can't really remember.

I have one arm wrapped around my pillowpet (Shutup, it's nice to cuddle with) and the other usually just stretched out all the way.

Unless I'm sleeping on my other side, then I have one hand bunched up with the duvet (So I can use that lump as a sort of "extra pillow") and the other over my stomach or just tucked in next to the other arm.

I usually get into bed with my hand on my stomach, but after that, it all depends on what's more comfortable

And then, every morning is an exiting adventure as I've inevitably tumbled about in my sleep and gotten my hands so that all bloodflow has stopped and I have no feeling in them whatsoever.

I sleep like this, with my feet towards the wall. I am the only person that I know who does this. Then again, my reason for it is that it is the only spot on my bed that I can place my laptop to charge and have the cord reach. I often like to fall asleep watching Youtube. I also often curl my legs up more towards my chest, but that is because that if I placed them out, fully, because of the angle that I'm at, I'd have a leg or two off the bed. As for hands, they kinda go wherever I feel is best at first.

I tend to sleep on my side meaning one of my hands is sandwich in the pillow (yes I sleep with two pillows) and the other hand is near me. I know I don't out stretch it otherwise it will be at the edge of the bed.

I use them, and my arms, to make the pillow/head area more comfortable. Like any sensible human being should.

I fall asleep on my front, with one arm tucked in-between the mattress and the other under the pillow. I toss and turn a lot in bed, and usually wake up in any one of several berjillion nonsensical positions.
