Simply put, are there any older games that you play, or still play to this day? I guess you can say games from the last console gen if you really want, but I'm talking about old games. For me, it's the original Fallout. Graphics didn't age well, but the atmosphere and everything else still holds up today.

Games from pre-this generation (before 2005, roughly) I still play at least once a year or so:

Thief (random entry for the series)
Deus Ex
Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines
Fallout 2 (never the original though. For some reason I just don't like it. Weird.)
Baldur's Gate Trilogy
Planescape: Torment and Arcanum (these two is more once every few years)

You could accuse me of being an RPG fan, yes. All offer some fantastic roleplaying opportunities, and I swear each time I play them I find something new, despite having beaten some of them nearing ten times now. Or at least I get some new mods :)

The first Mega Man X, Yoshi's Island, several of the classic Mario games, Link to the Past, Sonic 2, etc. Though I was born after these games came out, I played them a lot as a child. It's a blessing to have grandparents who own a SNES, NES, and Genesis.

I have an SNES and GBA emulator on my laptop, so quite a lot of games. The main ones I'm focusing on, however, are Pokemon Firered and Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest. The second one bugs me, because I've almost got it beat, but I'm not quite there. Stupid K. Rool.

Edit: PC retro games, however, I'm currently working on both Vampire: the Masquerade Bloodlines and the original KOTOR, which I can never play on a console again. So much better on PC.

I'm rebuilding my old SNES and N64 collections (once Dad gives me back my NES I'll be working on that too) so there are a lot of older games that I've been playing. Hell I actually just beat Majora's Mask last night for the first time! Other than that...

Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers
Primal Rage (why no modern ports?)
Super Castlevania IV
Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island (or is it story?)

And that's not counting the games I got from the Ambassador Program. I'm surprised by how much time I've clocked in NES Open Tournament Golf...Metroid too. I wish I was born a few years earlier...

Tie Fighter
The Neverhood Chronicles
A-10: Tank Killer
Red Baron
Dungeons of Daggorath
X-COM: UFO Defense

I also play a number of N64 games, but in my opinion they're a little too recent to be included.

I still play old games more than I play new games. I don't hate new games, but retro-gaming is still more fun for me. I still play nearly the entire NES and SNES library on a constant basis.

I play Alex Kidd in Miracle World with my sister sometimes on Master System, we have drinking games. I play my SNES constantly becuase I love the old 16bit RPG's. I am totally in love with the art style for some reason. Oh and Zelda: a link to the past :3

I have my ancient Atari 2600 aswell but newer tv's make it look a bit wierd unfortunately.

Hmmm, let's see.

Every so often I replay Chrono Trigger, and Legend of Zelda: a Link to the Past.

I am also planning to replay Morrowind soon.

I still try to play Deus Ex at least once a year, other than that, nothing really. I started up Chrono Trigger for the first time a few days ago but I guess that doesn't really count.

SMW2 was Yoshi's Island, Yoshi's Story was the N64 one.

Pretty much all of the Naughty Dog Crash Bandicoot games and the Insomniac Games Spyro games.

Just last week I invited a bunch of friends over and we played Crash Team Racing...it was a blast!

Doom, Doom II, Half-Life, Metal Gear Solid.

Not counting things like Space Invaders, Tetris or Missile Command, I've played plenty of Flash ports of those.

I recompleted Final Fantasy X very recently, just because it's awesome. I also have a tendency to play Super Mario World at a whim... Quite fancy playing it now to be honest...

I find games of the past have much more pick-up-and-play value than games these days. You can't just pick up Deus Ex HR and play it for 20 minutes. And it's the submersion that generally turns me off games when I have limited time.
