Title says it all, so I'll review my HK 416 aeg airsoft gun.

It sucks.

Pros:

-Lightweight
-High ammo count
-Hop-up easy to get to
-Looks nice

Cons:

-Kinda too light for my liking (my gas rifle has some heft, which I like)
-Rate of fire is shit
-Power is also shit
-I can throw bbs further than this fires them
-Cannot make wind-up worth a damn

Logitech G9

Pros:

-An absolute god-send for finger-grip users
-Buttons are all real responsive
-Custom colours on the DPI indicator lol
-Works on most surfaces

Cons:

-The side-buttons could be placed higher up but it's not terrible
-The software profiling thing is real fiddly

Yeah I love this mouse.

Hmm, let's see...

Hampton Republic checkered suit jacket (brownish grey).

Pros:

Armpatches, feels comfortable for the elbow and negates some of the high wear zones.

One of the few colour combinations that works well for checkered patterns, with small patterns. Avoiding the Benny-look.

Lovely colours and cut overall. It's got a personality without being garish or presumptive.

Unexpectedly comfortable.

Cons:

Shoulderpads are a bit thick, even if they are at least reasonably sized.

A bit too thick and warm, overall. Works best during spring and autumn, it is a bit too hot for summer.

Cuff buttons are fake. I'm unlikely to use them, but it does make me feel a bit like a parvenu.

Captcha: fashion victim. Oh, bog off, Capt...

My dog. Worst canine the world has ever seen.

Pros.

1. Does decent damage if you throw it at a potential threat.
2. Handy for wiping puke from your mouth after an all night champagne bender.
3. Makes for a meh footrest.
4. Cuddly, but in a largely shite way.

Cons.

1. Small.
2. Stupid.
3. Smells.
4. Walking it is a pain in the arse as it take three years for it to decide whether or not the wind is blowing in a direction that is right for defecation.
5. Slow.
6. Old.

My 2004 Nissan Sentra:
Pros:
-It was free from my parents
-It's super reliable since it has over 400 thousand km and still runs great
-It's fun to drive since I love driving standard

Cons:
-It has over 400 thousand km on it
-It's a pretty bland car, nothing special really

My Luffy Hat

Pros:
-Looks like the one from the show
-Includes a string so I can wear it on my back
-Handmade with a high enough quality to also be a good anytime hat instead of just for a costume

Cons:
-It's like a centimeter too small for my head to fit 100% comfortably
-The top isn't completely dome like Luffy's is
-The brim comes out more than I expected
-My cat likes to try and eat it for some reason

The cons aren't that big a deal to me though (except my cat trying to eat it). I'm not usually hung up on getting every detail exactly right anyway, but at least I can look at it and say "Hey! That's the hat from One Piece!" Plus it was made in a way that it's obvious that it's not just for cosplay, nice and sturdy. As a guy that collects and wears different kinds of hats I can say this one is my new favorite

Though I guess that's kinda biased since One Piece is my favorite show, so if I had anything else One Piece related it'd be my favorite whatever it was

Denon DN-X1600. Probably one of the best bang for your buck mixers at $1,000.

Pros:
- Traktor audio interface built in if you want to use timecode vinyl.
- 4 cahnnels.
- Good effects.
- Channels have a source select so you don't need to plug input into the "correct" port.
- Full MIDI support if you want to use it for controlling software.
- Great soundcard, sounds very good.
- USB functionality for clean recording without the problems a line in to a computer has.
- I really like the flex fader. It's swappable if you're an inno-fader purist, but it's really quite good.
- Doesn't get too hot.
- Metal chassis.

Cons:
- Plastic stems on the knobs (but not on the faders), should be metal at the thousand dollar price range IMO.
- Trim levels can be a bit precise for equal sounding volume (and redlining on this thing is redlining. You WILL clip, so don't).
- Using the line faders to fade in a track is a bit strange. It's really difficult to hear a track at the 0 - 6 range, but you can start to hear it at the 7 - 10 range. It's not really that bad, it's just a weird quirk of the mixer; especially if you're used to pioneer gear.
- Have to use the effects section for filters. It's kind of awkward to adjust to, but it hasn't really given me any issues once I've gotten used to the workflow.

My hand smithen nordic inspired broadsword, made in Poland.

Pros:
Just perfectly long enough to not be cumbersome.
Absolutely gorgeous to look at with ornamented pommel and hand guard of yellow and black metal.
Beautifuly ornamented leather sheath.
Pretty well balanced to me.

Cons:
Since it is not stainless steel, it requieres a lot of polishing and maintenance when used.
The sheath is very flimsily attatched to the belt and falls of easily if not checked on.
Also, I had to make my own extra piece of leather string from the point of the sheath to the belt to keep it from bouncing around as I walk.

All in all it was worth the 500 dollars it cost, since I often go to many medieval conventions and festivals.
I often get many compliments thanks to it. I have yet to whack someone with it though. I have never really had the time to get into any medieval fencing classes. (yes we have thoose were I live)

And of course it is not sharpened (although it is sharpenable). I wouldn't want to go to the dungeons if you know what i mean.

Sigma DP2

Ever bought a car that you could use only on the track. That has wrong suspension and was definitely not road legal. Well the Sigma DP2 is like that. Sure it makes picture like any camera does but with allot of "ifs" and "buts"

It isn't fast. It isn't small, it isn't particular smart set up. The Menu's are even in this version pretty slow. It lacks modern functionality and its special trick, a sensor that is read on 3 different depth leading to "14Mpixel" only effective is 4.75Mpixels. It also focusses slow, lacks EVF, its back screen is far from modern. It has a contrast based 9 area autofocussing system that will make you pull your hair out when you try to get it right on specific details.

It has a lens design that comes out and hence.. if it falls while extended it can break. It is a prime lens camera so better get used to walking. And better get used to not being able to switch between a wide lens, a normal lens or a telelens. In short it is made to do something specific really good and guess what it does that thing really good. You won't take it to parties and places where you need high ISO's. You want to shoot it at ISO 100 and that is it.

So what is the gain? Shooting at ISO 100 it offers a sharpness and color that is unbelievable. Put it on a tripod and go out to make pictures of plants and you are stunned by how good they look. Well you gotta shoot in RAW because the in camera JPG engine sucks but.. beyond those issues this is a great little camera to shoot things that don't move. In detail and microcontrast that seems to give your images almost a 3d feel.

Oh well why not lets just post a picture shot with it :) For those who know what I am talking about.

Such a camera that is really good in just one or two things.. and bad in the rest. But such a delight to get images out of it that are beyond your expectations.

Pros
-Its a camera
-It is well build [it has fallen a few time no problems]
-Image Quality is something special under the right conditions
-Low ISO performance is surprisingly good
-Nice Big Sensor

Cons
- Only around 4.75Mpixels effective
- It only does 45mm effective
- F2.8 isn't that fast on a sensor this small
- It is clunky in menu and functions
- It is slow to write its pictures
- Its autofocus is rather slow to
- Its manual focus is done by a small wheel on the back. it isn't perfect shall we say
- JPG's suck, you gotta shoot raw
- Raw requires either an up to date Lightroom or ...
- Or its own raw program which really isn't that good
- High ISO is worse then a 2002 DSLR :(
- Lets not begin about battery life

So why own it?
It does one specific thing very well and it is small and good build at it to. So if you do that one specific thing.. this camera rocks.

2012 Jeep Wrangler(2door)

Pros
-You can take the top off on a hot day
-285horsepower, never disappoints with hills, off-road or snow(Canadian winters)
-Big fuel tank and better fuel efficiency the a truck of same weight
-Can park in compact car spots and handle awesomely in a city.
-Biohazard decals get you random compliments from the police and other.

Cons
-Has terrible interior temp(freezing in winter, roasting in summer, its black)
-Stock suspension is a touch rough
-People always get you tow them out because its a tough vehicle
-Gets buffeted by the wind badly at highway speeds. 80kmph winds are not uncommon where I live and even parked the jeep will rock on axle.
-Biohazard decals get you random checks(pull overs) from the police.

My Computer

Pros

Reliable, only had one hardware defect in six years that was easily and cheaply fixed.
Has given me 6 years of mostly trouble free gaming.
Decent processor
Acceptable memory

Cons
See above, it's six years old
Hard drive is getting a little finicky
Weak power supply unit

I don't dislike this thing, but it can't be sensibly upgraded and I'm pretty sure the system board is gonna go sooner or later. Can't wait until I can put some money down for a new one that doesn't scream at me when I load a game.
