By the way, this riddle appeared in a Discworld novel, Lords and Ladies. The answer given, by the dwarf Casanunda, was that you should grab the weakest guard by the neck and drag him down and ask him in a firm but threatening way, "Which door is the one to get out and don't try anything funny or else...". Or something like that (cookie for anyone who can tell me the exact quote, because I can't find it and I'm too lazy to look it up in the book).
What would the other guard say this door led to. This is because asking both guards would give you the same answer. If you were standing in front of the life door, and you asked the true guy, he would "the other guard would say this is the death door. If you asked the liar guard he would also say the death door. All you would have to do is do the opposite of what the answer is.Trivun said:
