"This statement is false"SerpentofSet said:John the hunter went hunting in a tropical jungle when he was ambushed by cannibal natives! They tied him up and brought him to their camp. Their leader walked up to him and told him that they would kill him based on the last statement he uttered. If the statement was true, they would boil him in water. If it was false, they would boil him in oil. What can John the hunter say that will save him?
Nice answer, I wouldn't have thought of that. Here's my riddle:Shadyjames said:"This statement is false"SerpentofSet said:John the hunter went hunting in a tropical jungle when he was ambushed by cannibal natives! What would the other guard say this door led to. This is because asking both guards would give you the same answer. If you were standing in front of the life door, and you asked the true guy, he would "the other guard would say this is the death door. If you asked the liar guard he would also say the death door. All you would have to do is do the opposite of what the answer is.Trivun said:You are trapped in a maze with one exit. When you reach the exit, there are two doors and two guards. One guard only tells the truth and one guard only tells lies. One door leads to freedom, one door leads to certain death. You can only ask one question, and can only ask it to one guard. What is the question that will save your life?
Rain? The riddle wouldn't make sense as clouds do hold stuff, but it is the only answer I can think of.Spacewolf said:I hold nothing but carry much for some, i am always promissed but never come
Amazing, you got mine right. I didn't think many would actually get that one, so well doneMarkness said:What would the other guard say this door led to. Sorry I don't have any riddles for you. I doubt there would be many left after 10 pages and I reckon I would just be repeating them.
Thanks, I had to think about that one.Trivun said:Amazing, you got mine right. I didn't think many would actually get that one, so well done![]()

As I was going to St. Ives, I met a man with seven wives. Each wife had seven sacks. Each sack had seven cats. Each cat had seven kits. Kits, cats, sacks, wives. How many were going to St. Ives?
Wouldn't it just be one? He would have met him as he was going in the opposite direction. It's weird there are two deltora quest riddles on this page (the ives is similar to the raven one, and Serpant of Set's is the other riddle that was in the book).lewism247 said:two, you and the man
that's a good point, in a way it could be none because it says "Kits, cats, sacks, wives" it doesn't mention you or the manMarkness said:Wouldn't it just be one?
