Tam decided playing on his idealism would help a lot.

Hallas coughed from the now settling dust then replied "Sure thing friend, I am the creep in the shadows then leap into the fire type, rooftops would make an excellent choice."

He then turned away and continued on down the road away from carl.

"see if you can keep up!" he yelled back to carl as he rocketed away down the road with an immense roar.

"Tam, I do not fear any type of death. It is ascending into a greater existence, away from this hell hole of a world. No, death... Is something I look forward to, I only wait for it because there are still many things I must do. I'd prefer to die later, but would not care if I died this very instant." Jacob said, his hand on his heart. "Remember that death is not the end, but another step in the journey."

"I am asking this guy. No-one is as big a pussy as you, you gotta stop saying that there is someone more of a pussy then you." Tam sighed.

As Skye approached the factory, a shadow in the ruined buildings along her route materialized into a tall man in a long coat, his wide hatmostly covering his leonine head. The Jerusalem Man raised an arm, half in greeting, half in a command that she stop.

As the motorcycle drew to a halt, he stepped into the sunshine and greeted her with a smile a gesture of blessing. He focussed on her a moment, then his eyes lit with recognition.

"You are Skye, are you not? Selena's prodigy, and not only that... But it is your mistress I must speak to you about; she is missing, and I have heard no word of her. Do you know anything of her whereabouts?"

"Tam, I challenge you to a fight." Jacob pulled out his guns and showed her that they were empty. "To call me a pussy is a great crime, I have been through more then you can imagine. You are not worthy of calling me a coward." Jacob moved his right leg back. "If you accept, do not hold back, for I will not either."

 

[Fniff]

"I do not accept, because that is fucking stupid. Wanting to fight me because I called you a mean name is like murdering someone because they bumped into you. In fact, I think doing that implies you have something to prove, meaning even if you aren't a pussy you were once one, so now you want to make up for it! Even then, it's still fucking childish, because only between two five year olds would a nasty name mean anything! Jesus Christ man, a 13 year old is more mature then you! And you look at least a bit older then me." Tam crossed her arms and snarled.

The truth was, she knew that Jacob would probably kick the shit out of her, so she didn't want to start him up being an actual traitor, I.E backstabbing him and leaving him for dead. However, she thought he wouldn't be started up by her typical namecalling.

"O-oh..." Skye scrambled for words in her head nervously. It wasn't everyday you ran into one of the most powerful Jewels, and it was certainly rare to run into him twice in a short period of time. It didn't help that he was intimidating, either.

"N-no sir I haven't heard from her in the past few days. The last time I saw her was when we raided the Red Eagle marketplace about 4 or 5 days ago. She hasn't come looking for me either, so I assume she is following up on a lead that she found about the artifact..." Hopefully Shannow knew what the artifact Selena was looking for was, because Skye certainly didn't. It must have been really important for Selena to leave the factories without telling anyone where she was going...

"So you are the true 'pussy' it seems, hiding behind a veil of your childishness you cower. I shall not fight beside you, I leave..." He turned to look at Mongrel. "By keeping people in this world you are worse of a monster then anyone else in this world, to prolong their suffering... It is a crime." Jacob put ammo in his pistols as he walked out of the mall. "I have not been myself, I will hunt the Jewels instead of cowering in the darkness like a filthy animal! I hope not to see you two again, for if I do..." He looked back at them with a crazy smile on his face. "I'll kill you." He tuned back and pushed the doors open. "I will kill anyone that stands in my way! Come Jewels!!! I am not afraid of you!!! Send you beloved leader and I will rip him to shreds!"

"It's been quiet for a while now." The mechanic says as she checks the situation outside. The dust was calm and not so thick in the air. "Time for a junkpile." Heading to her locker and taking out her gaunlets and boots along with her coat. Putting on her goggles and bandana over her face, and takes her revolver and holster and putting them on at her waist, along with 42 rounds for it. "Well lets see about finding some computer tech..." she says as she unlocks her door and heads outside, relocking the door as it shuts.

"Now I do think if I head east here, there was a rumor of an old security tower from the old days still standing...this will be fun to see." grinning as she activates her rollerskates and heads in the direction of the old tower.

 

[Fniff]

"And...He is going to die. Hey, Jacob! I just wanna be honest here: you finally snapped. Good luck with taking on the Jewels, we'll just 'Cower'. You know how people survive a nuclear war? It isn't by going up to the nuclear war and shooting it in the face." Tam sighed. Jacob was a good asset, but even he couldn't take on every goddamn Jewel.

 

[ThreeWords]

Jon nodded and looked thoughtful, "Interesting, but of little use; I have reports of the raid, but she has not told anyone of her plans regarding the artifact." he shrugged in resignation, and the frown left his face. "And what of you, Skye? You have been involved in combat recently, have you not, and I see you arriving form the Eagle border. Have you news to report?"

"I am not up against a Nuclear War, I am up against men! Men who will easily die by my hand!" Jacob laughed at the sky. "While you stay there, know that you could of been so much more! But no, you chose to survive. Why survive when you can LIVE!?" Jacob walked over to his bike. "I will stand alone against the Jewels, they will fall one by one until their leader comes for me... Then I will either die or he will, I do not care which. For I will know that I lived."

 

[Fniff]

"Aha." Tam walked out to where she hid her car. She then started it up, and slammed down on the accelerator. She headed straight for Jacob.

"Sorry about this!" She shouted, as the car went towards Jacob at 19MPH.

"Oh, yes sir, I have mostly been busy trying to track down the two Red members from my last encounter... the ones that took out half of my team. According to some sources they have holed up in a 'mall' south of here, and are recruiting several other outlaws to either attack again or to defend against a possible attack. Although I suppose this would be no different than the other aggressive cells forming but... I feel like I have an obligation to destroy this one personally." She thought about how they had killed her comrades, with no mercy, but joy. How they had spoken against the Green god. They were no better than the mutated monsters that prowled outside the City.

Jacob turned the accelorator and sped out the way. "Ha! My tracks let me start too quick for you!!!" He turned it and pulled out both his pistols, emptying them onto the car. "Come with me and live! Or stay here and survive! I have made my choice and you yours, pray I kill them before they hunt for you. You probably wouldn't survive!" Jacob sped off as fast as he could, heading toward green territory laughing all the while.

 

[Fniff]

"Oh FUCK this!" Tam sped off after Jacob, knowing that he didn't deserve to die because a 13-year-old called him a nasty name.

I too have a score to settle with the Eagles; do you wish to accompany me on this quest?" he removed his hat, and the sunlight illuminated the first genuine smile Skye had seen, "You may find this old Preacher's not so terrible as is said"

Jacob looked back at Tam. Persistant... He turned hard into what presumably used to be a carpark and drove up it. He reached the top and drove off the edge into an mostly destroyed ex-office building, hitting rotting desks and chairs as he drove through it. He burst out a large window on the other end and landed on the road. Has she followed me?
