Ridiculous beginner's luck

I believe that being a beginner in something, particularly games, can lead to some REALLY lucky situations. Point and case: my recent outing in World of Tanks

So i've been playing WoT for about 2-3 months now, haven't gotten any "Ace Tanker" rewards yet as I'm grinding up the american tech tree. I've been specializing in the light tree and SPG tree for a while now and decide to try out the heavy tree for a little variety. I make it to the M3 Lee just as this weekend's 2nd anniversary festivities begin. Now I'm excited to get my first win in the tank to net the 5x xp reward. I fight 3 battles in my M3, all of which are horridly embarrassing losses. On the fourth battle, however, I get these results:

My first ace tanker, 2 battle heros, 3 other medals, 4.68k experiance, and 41.8k silver. How in the hell did I do that good in my 4th battle in that tank!?

Anyway: What are some instances of beginner's luck that you have encountered?

OT: In CoD: BlOps multiplayer, I got 7 kills in a row on my first game on my first life. Same with MW3. Other than that, can't think of anything.

(I am Scouter)This has been my first game with Artemis, a physical ranged that is viewed as one of the worst because she doesn't have a straight up escape(Leap) like the others. Granted, their Ymir(tank) was building full mage and Arena is a massive clusterbomb, but this match really got me into playing Artemis. TUSKY! ATTACK.

Hmm...one instance I can think of is at level 4 of Borderlands, I found a shotgun that one shot killed thing till like..level 12. I basically was an unkillable god in that period.

Oh, I know that it is a horrible, horrible tank. Thats why I'm surprised I got so many medals in the battle and had killed 5 other tanks.

I once landed Makoto's Astral in BlazBlue online during my first day of playing her. 100% most badass thing in the game. I mean it's one of the more difficult ones to hit, it's not Hakumen or Tager levels of ease to land. I have literally never managed to avoid a Tager Astral once online. How the fuck do you do it when it is unblockable and it pulls you to him super fast from fullscreen?

Anyone who plays Tager is pure scum. Arakune players have a special place in Hell though, fuck that Free Win Bullshit Mode. I would rather play against a TEEMO in LoL over a match vs Arakune. It's THAT BAD.

OT:Oddly enough also LoL related, hope this doesn't need to be recent, well my biggest beginners luck would be getting Vlad the week he came, god he was so broken back then...like shit on a pally broken. Basically got a month worth of free wins after that, also my first 1v5 pentakill (as well as 2nd-8th(did I mention he was broken)) unfortunately lost that account and my comp couldn't run LoL and fraps at the same time. Also in LoL, shortly after I came back right before S1 ended picked up karma, somehow managed to do good with her pretty quick, no 1v5 like vlad but able to 1v1 and 1v2 most champs at the time. Was still using a crap comp at the time so didn't get those matches either, would do it now but my current net connection hits over 700 ping, and the karma reworked sort of screwed me over. :/ Meh I was needing a new champ anyway...I hear Urgot and Heimy aren't to popular these days might pick them up next.

First time playing Team Fortress 2. Played as Spy and had no idea how to properly play him. Killed 3 people in close quarters with only the knife in quick succession and only one of them was a backstab. Basically ran in there flailing wildly and came off victorious. Never been able to repeat anything close to that since.

First Dota 2 match playing Brewmaster. It was an all random and I'd gotten Ogre Magi, but swapped him for Panda. And it did not go well. Despite supposedly being really hard to kill, I just couldn't keep my HP inside my body for the whole game, even buying a Vanguard before anything more useful just to try and extend my lifespan by about two seconds.

And then we got pushed all the way to our mid rax. Full-on teamfight. Couldn't see anything, so I just started randomly clicking on everything that looked important before retreating.

DOUBLE KILL!!

I look up at the notification.

That was my double kill.

The guy who was hardly getting any gold all game, and was starting to get really depressed about it, just got a double kill.

Somehow they never actually decided to push mid again, or else they did and we just never lost our mid rax. But after that, I finally managed to get some decent items and start contributing to the game again. The other team just never got back that high again. And yeah, that was complete beginner's luck - I've never seen anything like it in any other round of Dota I've ever played.

ASAP Teemo is best Teemo. Attack Speed Ability Power Teemo with all the bullshit shroom enhancements like Rylai's for a bigger slow and Liandry's for the mad damages. Teemo is just a prick in general.

Actually, on topic: my very, very first ranked game was with Riven top, We got into a jungle fight at Red Buff and I got an instant Quadra from just Wind Slashing into their team. From 0/0 to 4/0 in a second. I was freaking SHOCKED.

I was really bad at the game back then as well. Such as getting confused as to which character was mine in the mess of particle effects that is your standard teamfight.

ASAP Teemo is best Teemo. Attack Speed Ability Power Teemo with all the bullshit shroom enhancements like Rylai's for a bigger slow and Liandry's for the mad damages. Teemo is just a prick in general.

You say that like there is another way to build ap teemo.

I was really bad at the game back then as well. Such as getting confused as to which character was mine in the mess of particle effects that is your standard teamfight.

Yeah, LoL is good for a lot of WTF firsts. Another beginners luck was the first time I took karma mid and got a very cocky LB, nothing quite like out bursting the burst queen. She thought she could combo faster then I could R+E, survived her full combo. XD Was only around lvl 10 so not the most impressive but threw her for a loop pretty bad, I got lucky had just found out earlier that day you could alt/cast to self cast instantly. Always got to learn something new right?

Just a note, Pandaren doesn't want or need a Vanguard, he goes tangos and branches or quelling into rush bottle and abuse fary/control runes, into drums or blink (you want both, depends on the match which one first), boots as necessary, then a scepter and then whatever you want. My guess is also that your skill build was iffy, you want Q, 1 W, 1 E and stats till lvl 6, then max Q, you can skip W and E as needed for stats, Q you use to last hit groups of creeps in the lane after you bring them low, and even better if you hit the enemy hero.

I also would only take panda mid or panda sideline in a 1v1.

This is a very good guide to play a "good" panda http://www.dotafire.com/dota-2/guide/competitive-brewmaster-guide-and-strategy-1273 , there are other builds that are more fun but less efficient.
