The Silver Sword in NWN2. It's not so hard to get but it's utterly pointless. Everyone is salivating over how powerful an artifact it is, but oyu can pretty much craft a better sword yourself about halfway through the game.

I know what you mean by the zhu rong pistol. Anyway mine is also on fallout 3, the reservists rifle. There is a dude in a church how has it along with an amazing aim. You have to shoot the gun out of his hand, grab it and return 3 days later to do the whole bloody thing again to get it in good condition. Then you realise its more or less the same as the normal sniper rifle.

Actually, it high a ridiculously high critical hit ratio and if you have luck over 6 you have about an 80% chance of getting criticals every shot.

I'm going with Vengence from Fallout 3. All that to get a gattling laser that super degrades.

The Crissigram in Symphony of the Night. It's an extremely rare drop from an annoying flying enemy, but it doesn't suck. In fact, it's such a good weapon that it makes the entire rest of the game completely devoid of any challenge, as you become essentially an unstoppable death machine once you wield it. I think you can beat the final boss in seconds with it, without even moving.

Wakka's World Champion weapon in FFX or Lulu's super weapon in FFX. The first means playig an insane amount of the Blitzball minigame. The second means dodging 200 lighting bolts in a row. Both are time consuming and pains in the ass.

More like I ended up going around in circles. Deathclaws are nothing more than a nuisance to me now....

Blackhawk is great, I agree. But the Terrible Shotgun can do over 1200 damage on a Sneak Attack crit. I'm not going to argue which is better overall, but the Terrible Shotgun is by no means a bad weapon as long as it fits your playstyle.

Any of the Special Weapons in Phantasy Star Online Episodes I & II, since they take forever to find, and they usually end up getting replaced by the next tier of saber.
