It's all very well to say that everyone should have access to healthcare, but money doesn't grow on trees. Our national debt is staggering, and allowing the government to pay for everyone is simply not a viable solution in America.

Other, less wealthy nations manage it. I think the biggest barrier; and Ill admit its only based on opinion, is linked to the "American dream". Its like socialist is a four letter word, you should have moved past McCarthyism by now. Ive heard arguments for universal healthcare shouted down as government meddling. Its not so black and white.

Im sorry to use catch alls like "you", Americans are as diverse as any other nation. Im just in a hurry.
