Yeah no offense but I haven't respected Riot's...-pffffffff- "artistic vision" since the Garen visual rework (hahaha Unprepared Garen where?).

In reality and live usage the new model does actually look better but hey you can't expect the LoL community to actually be patient and mull/consider things like how almost every model looks different when it hasn't yet been implemented into the game, that the t-pose can actually warp and make a model look better/worse then it actually is, that the model isn't done yet - You basically can't expect any sensible logic from the LoL community. So stop trying.

Also, I like the new splash. And the new base model. Get angry.

Every year they release a set of Beach (Summer) and Snowdown (Winter) skins too, etc. Ironically, the men always get far more revealing and "sexy" skins during the Beach skins than the women do.
Unless you are gay/are a woman/are in some way sexually attracted to men please don't attempt to say that. And even then keep in mind that those things are up to opinion.

(Sexiest skin in game, IMO as a woman? There is none. I don't find any of the male skins sexy. Shen's voice however? I'd take a bullet for him.)

I don't even use Fiora, but as I explained earlier in the thread- people paid good $ for these models. I mean sure they're simply skins but the price for em is quite expensive. Imagine your favorite champion in a MOBA (male or female) was suddenly altered. Their newer model is horrid, plus their new set of skills was a setback instead of an improvement. I'm mainly talking about her ultimate though.

Still, comments like these are what causes flame wars. Don't be that guy please. You know, the one that enjoys the drama.
You're a smart individual with insightful things to say, so I hardly see how this kind of comment can serve any good for our community.
By that logic shouldn't every champion nerf be cause for drama? People do still buy champions with money - the fools.

As time goes on I get more and more convinced of the fact that Riot has no idea what they're doing. The current tank meta and constant broken balancing and visual downgrades don't give me much hope for future changes.

I gave up on LoL due to how frustrating it got, but I'll take your word for it on the gameplay aspect.

That being said, while the new model's face does look like it came out of the uncanny valley, you don't really notice tiny little details like that in game, due to how zoomed out it is.

As for the splash art? Uh...doesn't look that different from the first one.

I know I'm expected to be the kind of person who comes in foaming at the mouth every time someone scratches the nose of a female character wrong but...yeah I don't see the problem. It's the same pose, just at a different angle, same overall outfit design, just a different color, same stupid looking breast plate (What is the point of those...they're stupid and they aren't sexy) and same hair style except it's violet instead of red.

Model looks horrid.

Not a fan of the splash-art either. First one looked more organic... her hair tossed. The hair in the second one looks like it could cut you. Secondly, the missing parrying dagger. And third, the half-jack which implied freedom of movement to the shoulders with that weird unitard thing.

I don't know why so many people are harping on the model, it's not like its a live model. It's still in beta and they're still fixing it.

That said, the kit changing really isn't all that bad. Riot tried to make melee carries a thing and they failed pretty hard because champs like that swing back and forth between completely useless and completely overpowered every other patch. I'd rather have a balanced out champ instead of a champ that can 1v5 the entire team one game and then drag their own team to the depths another game.
The carry designation is dead, the correct term is assassin and marksman. But yes, Melee DPS assassins have the hardest time in league since they face the following problem.

-Crowd Control
-Seething hatred of DPS "Right Clickers". Making you the first to get ganked Or get countered
-More means of defending DPS Melee rather than Ability Champions (Trynd/Yi vs Talon/Akali)

At least the new model doesn't have a giraffe neck, it does look incredibly surprised though.

"Destroys" implies there was something to ruin, which would be wrong in this case. For the longest time Fiora either laned against someone with a brain, got shutdown, and became free kills in teamfights, or laned against a total abject moron, got fed, and 1v5-ed her way to swift victory. That kind of binary is not good champ design. She needed this overhaul for a looooong time.
^Finally. Someone that knows what's up.
Fiora was a sad joke due to there being so, SOOO many ways of shutting her down before she became a real threat.
Old Fiora has no real escape, and a garbage passive that hilariously forced Fiora to overcommit in lane early and often to be of any real use.

Her sticking power and assassin ultimate were the only good things about her; and others did them far, far, FAR better.
(Zed has mobility, splitpush power AND hot 1v1 ninja action. Fizz scaled more smoothly, wasn't completely shut out by tanks, has a versatile escape skill and an equally powerful, if not superior ultimate)
She was Tryndamere 2.0.

Now, she has more to do as a dualist. Armor and/or any half-decent CC doesn't completely shut her out of the game and she can actually contribute something more than just a random throwaway ultimate to a teamfight now. Just changing her lunge to a skillshot raised her teamfight potential dramatically (not being shackled to LoS mechanics is a huge gain in mobility).
