"Sure, yeah" Roachman inserted the card, deactivating the collar, he removed it and stared at it with an open mouthed, triumphant smile, as if he had again received human rights. He murmured a reassurance to himself to himself, softly. "Roachman is no-ones dog."
He looked up at cutter again. "And you'll need those meds, too. Cruel of them to take that. Who knows what it was. I'm sure they're not supposed to cause our deaths. Where do they keep the confiscated stuff? I need to find my jacket and hat, too." Roachman could already feel power returning to him.
Ok got a little confused as to what you want the guards to do, so I'm going to give you a free reign on the Guards Actions up until you escape the cell, ok?
Roachman just nodded. He followed the mist trail cautiously as he started to feel his arms itch. He absent-mindedly scratched them to find his chitin spikes had returned, which must have meant he was going invertebrate again. His inner chitin was returning. He also started to feel heavier. His strength wasn't quite there, yet, though. He looked around every corner with Cutter as they followed the trail, looking out for foes.
It was just there to see what they would do mostly, and to keep them distracted.I was trying to get them mad at me so that Roach and Cutter can get some headway into escape.But I'll take your generous offer of controlling the guards.:]
"All right asswipe, step away from the door, Graviton doesn't have any reason to visit scum like you." The guards hit the cell door with their sticks, clipping Joey's fingers and causing him to jump back, more in surprise than pain.
He stepped away from the door, wringing the fingers that had just been hit,"Damn, those things still sting," Joey stood behind the bed opposite Sanchez, awaiting the right moment to strike.
As the guards began searching the cell, Joey signaled to Sanchez again, to begin their attack.
Joey and Sanchez both rushed the guard as he was bent over, looking underneath the bed, knocking his taser/baton out of his hand and sending it across the floor towards the door. The other guard, keeping watch over his buddy near the door, swung his baton at Blue-Blood's head, but he blocked and instead smacked his arm with an audible *TWACK*, sending both waves of pain and vibrations up and down his right arm, rendering it paralyzed for the time being, as it twitched uselessly from the short, but violent burst of electricity combined with a possible fracture. Dammit, I'm going to have look at this when I get this fucking collar off.
Sanchez, being the military man that he was, easily subdued the guard they had just rushed and dived for the rolling weapon, snatching it just as it passed the threshold of the entrance to the cell. He turned with it in hand and hit the side of the guard's knee, the force behind the blow shattering bone and the guard fell with a scream of pure pain and terror. He fell to his left, landing on his newly broken kneecap, drawing forth another cry of pain with him dropping the baton to clutch his knee.
Joey stood over him, baton in his left hand, the right still twitching uselessly at his side. Between small grimaces of pain as he felt the electricity still in his body,"Remember the name Blue-Blood, asshole, tell any hero you meet that he's coming, and that their family will be the next of many to die." Joey swung the baton, with much less force behind it than the previous two swings, though still enough for the guard to fall unconscious from the shock of the baton's taser.
Looking over at the cell opposite him, he saw that Cutter had summoned her mist and that the kid calling himself Roachman had taken his collar off and he had begun his transformation back into a Roach, just as he had said he would.
"Hey Roach, gimme the key, we want out of these collars."He gestured to both him, Sanchez, and vaguely waved his hand in the direction of the other cells.
Hearing a commotion outside, Ferrous tried to see what is happing.
Speaking towards Jack "Looks like some of the others who are also staying here have some complains about the food to."
Putting his arms outside, Ferrous started to bang the cell door trying to get the attention from any one outside.
Roachman's chitin is underneath his skin, so it looks normal on the outside.
"Ha-ha, yeah here you go. I heard you kicking that guard's ass back there, nice one." He handed him the card and waited for him and the others to unlock the collars. "Great, now let's get moving before more guards come to check out the noise."
Ok, thanks Roach/headsprouter, I thought that he had an exoskeleton like a roach, duly noted and edited
Joey unlocked the collar, took it off, and as soon as he felt his power reawaken, he righted nerves and healed the bone in his right arm with his left. When it was done,he first flexed his arm and seeing that it was satisfactory he left with the card in his left hand, baton in his right, and his collar inside a pocket of his jumpsuit, it would prove useful whenever he met a hero. He unlocked Sanchez's collar and took his for safekeeping. As he left the cell, he took the other guard's key card,locked the guards in their cell, and slipped it into the first cell on his right.
Joey went down the hall they were in, unlocking and opening doors left and right exclaiming,"Come on now guys, let's get out of this hellhole and back where we do all the wonderful things we've been missing!"
"Seems you guys also didn't agree with the metal rich food they serve here he?" Ferrous said to the man who had opened the cell door.
Pointing at the collar he is wearing Ferrous asked "Do you know a way to remove this? I feel like a white-collar criminal with this thing."
"Soldier! You have been promoted Private! FOR VICTORY!" Sanchez yelling in joy as he took a baton and ran at the guards, quickly defeating them.
Jack Said "HOLY SHIT! They're Actually doing it! HEY OVER HERE! OI!" as he started banging too.
Carl Said "Well...so much for that plan then..."
The entire Cell block soon opened up thanks to Joey's actions and mayhem filled the prison.
I have to admit this is way better than what I had Planned, We'll meet you outside the Prison.
Aw what the hell, I'll Play the Music aways...
After mere moments, one inmate managed to break into the Intercom room and said "Been waiting years to do this..."
The Intercom lit up with the sound of music.
After opening all the cell doors in the hallway, he turned back to the man that had asked for the keycard,looking on the floor of the cell, he said,"Come on man, you're fucking killing me, there's the card right there on the floor by those gigantic things you call feet.Now get the damn collar off and get over here, looks like we got a lot of our kind in here today. Step right up, get your collar off and your powers back, one time offer coming up right now, I'll waive the usual fee,so you guys can keep your legs intact, you're going to need them.General, can you keep an eye on the hall for a sec?And guys, if these collars still work, we may be able to use them on the damn heroes that got us put here in the first place"
Joey stood against a wall, ready for his first customer and collar dropper. Trying to keep his attention on both the people lining up in front of him, or rather, hording the halls, he really had no idea that a camera had been watching them the whole time.
I'm just assuming this place has cameras if they can afford these collars, they've gotta be expensive if they cancel out powers, even more expensive if they're made special to each person they bring in. If the place doesn't have cameras, just tell me and I'll edit out the last sentence.
Zeph fumed.
"Damn it. I was really looking forward to it. Oh well. At least I can use the signal jammer to render these collars useless for their purposes. And I can disable the cameras, I guess." Zeph sighed, disappointed. "Let's go, Carl."
He pressed the button in his arm that Carl now saw, with shock, was the signal jammer, and exited the cell, following the herd of prisoners and motioning for Carl to join him.
Seeing one of the cards lying on the ground, Ferrous picked it up and unlocked his collar. Feeling a familiar feeling come over him, Ferrous smiled. Walking towards one of the cell doors, Ferrous touched his hands against. Seeing it slowly start to corrode, Ferrous pulled out a palm sized chucked from the door before putting it in to his mouth and started eating it.
Done with his snack, Ferrous searched for the strongest piece of metal that he could find there and grabbed hold of it, turning in to that metal. Walking back towards the man who had open his cell, Ferrous asked him. "So what is next on your to do list? Break in to the control room and open up all the cell doors? Escape with the group we got now? Destroy this damn place? Kill some supers? Annoy the living daylight out of that pesto guy? The name is Ferrous by the way, I am in the metal and construction business."
Don't know what metals they would use to build the place from and also if Ferrous would be able to reach them from where he is at the moment. Would you might be willing to decide what metal it was?
Jack and Carl soon left along with the masses of normal prisoners.
Command Center
The Head Guard saw the madness from the Cameras. "Attention all Units, This is Sargent Ripper, We have a Mass Break-out, Lethal Force Authorised..." He ordered over the Prison Radio.
He grinned a little when several Riot Guards with M4s entered the Sector and began firing on the fleeing inmates.
He then went to the Armoury to get his own.
Right, So now the Guards have Assault rifles, have fun with that...
Shanaar = The Prison is petty much normal Bricks and Mortar, though all the Bars have the Same makeup as the one you just ate.
Seeing some of the inmates fall, Ferrous felt some weird pin pricks on his chest, like someone was pinching him. Looking at his chest, Ferrous noticed some small craters and a ricochet marks on his chest. Looking for the source of it, Ferrous saw some guards firing there weapons in to the prisoners without any discretion.
Charging towards the guards, Ferrous yelled at them "Is this the way you guys works now a days? Slamming in to one of the guards, Ferrous tried to grab one of the other guards and throw him against another one.
Several more Guards Flooded the Area followed by their Ringmaster, Ripper, now armed with a Combat Shotgun. "STOP RIGHT THERE CRIMINAL SCUM, RETURN TO YOUR CELLS AND WE WILL LET YOU LIVE!" He shouted as he fired up into the air.
The guards opened fire and Joey hit the ground, letting the card fly into Never-find-it-again-land. He was lucky to hit the ground before one of the minor inmates, who collapsed in front of him, blood slowly draining out of him, Joey reached over, but the man was too far gone for him to help. So instead, he picked the man up and shuffled along the ground, using the soon to be dead inmate as a shield. He reached a lone guard ahead of the others soon enough and touched one of them, letting his power envelop the man, to Joey's eyes, and soon enough, blood began leaking from every minor vessel in his body, eyes,nose,mouth,ears, effectively taking him out of the fight, if not soon killing him from blood being produced at an accelerated rate and pressure building in his brain about now.
Picking up the dropped gun, Blue-Blood propped the guard up in front of him along with the now dead inmate, creating cover and using the point where their shoulders met to hold the rifle along. Opening fire on the remaining guards and seeing a metallic man charging into them, he was careful to hit the ones that were an immediate threat to him.
Controlling his rate of fire from his year of training with Madeline, but these were quite a bit different, with them being made in this century first of all and the fact that they were a mite heavier than Maddy. He managed to hit three of the guards, only wounding one of them with an arm shot, the other shots simply hitting body armor and doing no serious damage that he could tell.
"Ahhahahahaha,"He laughed maniacally, "this is the way to have a good fucking time. Die little you little shits, DIE!"
Zeph grinned. Finally, a use for his equipment. He pressed the button on his other arm, which contained his personal invisibility device.
He tried to find a way to both duck and navigate through all of the panicking prisoners, and the other take-charge supervillains, to get to Carl. He had an active invisibility field ready for him if only he could find him...
