I'm almost 25 and i recently started dating a girl that is barely 18 and i want to know if anyone thinks it's too much of an age difference. My friends and family are pretty much split on the issue so i'd like to know what everybody here thinks?

Here's the rule as I know it:
Your age, divided by two, plus seven.
So: 25/2 = 12.5 + 7 = 19.5, so we will round down to 19.
So the math says no, but if you love her man, don't worry about age. I personally think it comes down to maturity and communication. (in 2 years she will be 20 and you will be 27 so 27/2 = 13.5 + 7 = 20.5, so 20, it will be fine mathematically

As long as it's a real relationship and not just a fling then it's fine.
It's not illegal, but why would you want to? I'm around your age, so to me dating a girl that is 18 would be a nightmare. I actually don't even really give the time of day to 21 year olds these days because drama is such a big thing for alot of girls in the 18-21 year old age.

No, because I wanted to date a girl that was ten years older than me. I never would have thought about dating somebody that much older, I always thought that 5 years was the limit. But she changed my mind.
My mom and step-dad are about thirty years apart, so don't worry about it. It's better than being 45 and her being 16 XD
It's only a 7 years differenct approx and she's 18 so it's quite Okay with me there. Now if you were 30 somethin and she was under the age of 18 then i'd point me finger at you and say Shame

Yeah, she's really mature for her age. I personally think she's more mature then most 25 yr old girls i know. Also she's hot as hell, so thats a major plus for me! Plus she graduated from high school last year and we're going to be going to the same college in the fall.rayne117 said:
