I reckon that will happen. If only to sell more gear. Hopefully the tracklist won't be Guitar Hero 5 piss poor. The DLC stuff has been great though, so I can't see them selling hard copy with anything but mainstream crowd pleasers. Still, I have faith that it'll never be as bad as Activisions abortions.

While I'll won't be moaning and whining about this, I can't help but feel the whole "rhythm action with plastic instruments" genre is starting the scrape the bottom of the barrel. I realise Rock Band has been the good guys in this case, but I'm just getting tired by all this. Regardless of any promises to bring revolution.

Just because you don't like it, doesn't mean its bad.

I don't like The Beatles, but they were a revolution in music for a reason.

Anyway...I can't stand music games. Or real instruments, either. So don't take me for a "Play a real guitar guyz!" person.

I think unless RB3 really changes much then it'd be better for them to just continue with releasing DLC packs. The best Rhythm game is one where you choose your own songs, right?

A few weeks ago I would've berated you for forgetting those of us without Broadband and not being able to DL all the DLC.
However, now I have Broadband, I can totally see your point. RB DLC is frikkin' awesome.

I have definitely been waiting for a while.... once the tour and challenges were over there was really no reason to pull out Rock Band except for at parties.... and even then the songs got a little tiring.

I always like having some objective while playing because playing it for fun isn't that fun unless there's more than one person.
