Like I'm doing with Guitar Hero Live, I'll use this topic to post confirmed songs for Rock Band 4 to allow for discussion. It took longer for this topic to be made, just because it took a while for ANY songs to be confirmed, but here we are.

These songs are confirmed via IGN [http://www.ign.com/articles/2015/05/15/rock-band-4s-first-6-songs-revealed-ign-first], Billboard, and Amazon.

Oh, I like Little Miss Can't Be Wrong!
Yeah, I'm not really interested in Guitar Hero or Rock Band anymore but I was curious and hey, Little Miss Can't Be Wrong!

I only recognize one of the songs (The Killers), but I wouldn't be surprised if I know two others but just don't recognize their names (Fleetwood Mack and The Who). Main game Rock Bands haven't really let me down yet, so I'm not too worried.

"The Seeker" was in Guitar Hero III, as well as the classic rock station in GTA IV, so you may have heard it there, but it isn't one of their bigger songs.

I don't know if it's the fanboy in me or what but the milisecond Harmonix came out and said that all your DLC would be transferable, Rock Band 4 instantly became my game of choice when it comes to squeaky plastic instrument games (and I do indeed still play my Rock Band games).

I feel like I was one of five people who liked Avenged Sevenfold's new song so I'm happy with that. I am also a big fan of The Killers song there so another happy song. I'm familiar with The Spin Doctor's but I'm not a big fan of that song but even the pros can't bat a thousand...

The other songs I'm not familiar with but as I said, I'm getting Rock Band 4 almost no matter what. There are plenty of songs I never heard of that very quickly became my favorites in the other games and I fully expect that to happen here.

Hail to the King? Sure, bring me all the Avenged Sevenfold you can throw at me. Hell, if they're still getting A7X, maybe I can still hold out hope they can toss in some more Primus or NIN.

I'm not all that familiar with any of these songs.

Oh, well. This is only the first six out of probably a hundred songs in the game.

Now if you excuse me, I'm still waiting for Tokyo Jihen.

...Hail to the King? They couldn't pick a good A7X song or at least a decent one? x_x

I'm sure most of the tracks will be fine and I don't mind the rest of the reveals but Jesus Christ that song and whole album were just awful.

The fact that rhythm games are trying to exist again kind of makes me sad. I mean, I get that they might be fun at parties like once, but there are programs out there that actually teach you the songs on real instruments, so the single-player reasoning for it is completely blown, in my eyes.

I would've picked a different A7X song, something from back when they weren't terrible. Maybe something awesome like Second Heartbeat. Yeah, I'd totally play that shit. All the other songs are cool though.

Since Guitar Hero was first released, three of my favorite artist are shamefully underrepresented. I have no faith in GH due to the crap they put out that killed the genre, but RB gives hope. More Fleetwood is always welcome, but going back and hunting I've found two ZZ Top songs(GH game, both bad live versions), no Stevie Ray Vaughan, and I can't recall any ELO. If they put any of them in the base game, I'd seriously look at buying. All three and I'd consider pre-order.

I did see the new GH already has 'Gold on the Ceiling', so I can only assume the Black Keys won't be an option.

As far as Stevie Ray Vaughan goes, the entire Texas Flood album is available as DLC for Rock Band, if that makes any difference. And don't be so sure on Black Keys. It's not unknown for RB and GH to not only have songs by the same artists, but have the same song in simultaneous releases (RB and GH3 both had "When You Were Young" by The Killers, and RB2 and GHWT both had "Float On" by Modest Mouse).

OT: So far, I'm impressed... Then again, I love most of those songs almost to the point of having a full-bias boner...

Other than that, I'm sure this will make my potential PS4 cum buckets before stealing my wallet as Rock Band 4 approaches...

The thing you forget is that there are people out there who don't want or need to actually learn to play an instrument to enjoy these games. They like the idea of playing with their friends, or they live in an apartment that can't hold a set of actual drums, or maybe they just aren't into learning instruments. Whatever the reason, games like Rock Band have done much better at market than games like Rocksmith over the years.

I missed that somehow, possibly from poorly built lists and no access to PSN. Good to know, thank you. At the same time, that leads me to something else, all those DLC items and I never could bring myself to buy any of them when I could(on capped internet now) because none of it seemed worth the price. I'll pay $1.30 for a song on iTunes because I can listen to it at any time, anywhere, in theory at least, and while the 90 or so on a game I'm fine with, I just have trouble shelling out the money for a song I can only play on my system.

That could very well just be me though, I'm known to be a bit of an idiot.

Through E3, there have been more songs confirmed. I'll use Billboard [https://www.billboard.com/articles/business/6598224/rock-band-4-elvis-bruno-mars-spin-doctors] as my source.

Benjamin Booker- Violent Shiver [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zm-rb8k1HkU]

Elvis Presley- Suspicious Minds [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hdmIhCkp3p4]

Mark Ronson ft. Bruno Mars- Uptown Funk [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ziN7Y1M1v8s]

Queens of the Stone Age- My God Is the Sun [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-90obSa1Az4]

Scandal- The Warrior [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VLAdKCyD_IA]

See, Activision? THIS is how you do a setlist.

Also, pre-order through Amazon for 34 bonus tracks. Thirty of the tracks, according to the list provided by Amazon, appear to be mostly the bonus tracks from the three previous games, with four exclusive tracks:

Alabama Shakes - Don't Wanna Fight
Breaking Benjamin - Failure
Death from Above 1979 - Trainwreck 1979
The Pretty Reckless - Follow Me Down

Thanks for the info! I'll add links to those songs in the first post.
