Ah, Harmonix - you sure know how to put together a great setlist. It's nice to see that the addition of the keyboard hasn't compromised the quality of the songs being used.

I wrote a song once and performed it later that day (Yeah, I'm that good).
It was only after the show that someone came up to me and said that the main riff in one of the songs I played sounded exactly like "Rainbow in the Dark" minus the shitty keyboard bit. It was then she let me listen to it on her ipod. I didn't know how to take it, should I feel proud that "we" came up with the same riff, the whole "great minds think alike" or embarrassed that I was ripping it off. Still play it, mind you.

there are a few that have been done on earlier GH games and about 70% of the setlist is a bit lame if i'm honest
ive always preferred rock band in particular rock band 2 which i had to import to Australia as it has never been released here. Guitar hero has always looked so cheesy World tour looked pathetic and GH5 tried too hard to be for kids but adults and also looked pathetic to rock band 2 mainly because it has such a simple style where guitar hero tries to accommodate every persons visual tastes.
Im looking forward to RB3 but i think the realism mode is going a little too far i play it because i enjoy a simple rhythm game. why would you play a game attempting to imitate a guitar just go play a real guitar.

So, similar to what happened to guitar does this mean there are going to be a million people who couldn't even point to middle C on a piano but somehow think they are able to play these listed songs?
I'm surprised they don't have the Muse song off the latest album, the one which is actually played on a keytar... cant remember what it's called cause it's not very good.

They are introducing a Pro mode for RB3, which will utilize the entire keyboard. Which is a full sized keyboard.Kif said:

I think I'm going to stop at Rock Band 2, because it's enough fun with friends. I don't have room for another big controller.
