Rock bands that would be better if their leader decided not to be the singer as well...

It's not uncommon. The leader/songwriter of a band also wants to be and actually is its singer. His/her voice is not all that great, though and you can imagine that someone with a better voice would do better justice to a brilliant song.

My contribution: Radiohead, Nirvana, Foo Fighters.

PS: Try to get past your love for a band or a song. Radiohead is my absolutely favorite band and I wouldn't have their songs with anything other than Yorke's falsetto voice. However, sometimes I do imagine how it would be if Yorke had a different brilliant voice.

Nirvana? Hell no. Half of Nirvana's appeal is how personal the lyrics are.

I put forward Megadeth. A million times, Megadeth. Dave Mustaine can write great songs but he's a shite singer.

But...I love Yorke's voice:( o.o.

Meh, can't say I agree with you tbh. No bands...that come to mind...seem like that to me.
Interesting point to consider though. I'll have a think.

Also wow, this capcha is unreadable.

I kinda like how some bands have bad singers. I mean, that's sort of what rock is. If you had lady gaga, who is an excellent singer, sing for say... AC/DC or Iron Madien, it just wouldn't work out.

I can't really see her singing for Megadeth either, and I like Dave Mustaine's singing voice even though it's not "good".
