Colossus at Thorpe Park, it was the first big one I ever went on (I used to be scared of them) and it was amazing. Saw, Nemesis and X:/No Way Out are good as well though. I'm still too scared to go on Stealth.

My favourite I've ever been on was the Magnum Force at Flamingo Land, but they took it down. =/

Out of ones that are still standing, any from Blackpool Pleasure Beach; that place is great.

What is hands down the best roller coaster or thrill ride you have ever ridden.

Mine is Alpengeist from Busch Gardens Europe in Williamsburg, VA.
GASP! where do you live? I live about 20 minutes from Busch Gardens Europe, Alpengeist and Apollo's Chariot are my favorite rollercoasters. Busch Gardens got some good ones!
I always liked Big Bad Wolf. I could never get the courage to go on Apollo's Chariot.
Well after the park closes this fall they are tearing down big bad wolf. its been around so long its coming to the point of beyond repair. So they are retiring it.

On another note, apollos chariot is much more chill and less intense. its very smooth, much less scary than alpengiest.

Good question.

I would go with the Western themed one in Disneyland/France.

But Asterixland has the most SICKEST one of all :D
what's the name of the ride that doesn't have an actual track? (i just went to the asterix land web site and it was the first thing i've seen. too bad i can't read french)

That was the one I rode on - I can't remember. But it's the biggest, the baddest ride they have there.

Yeah, I thought I'd heard they were tearing the Wolf down. Damn shame, but I guess it's had a good run. Apollo's Chariot just goes so freaking high up. But yeah, Alpengeist is just a beast.

Sheikra.
Did I mention it's floorless?
Oh Hell yeah. I went on that thing when it was raining one day and by the time we were at the top of that thing, we were literally inside the cloud! Scary.

Tell you what though, being rained on at sixty plus miles an hour does wonders for the skin. I came off feeling more exfoliated then a day at the spa (like that's what you'd be concerned about)
