Don't even fucking joke. Seriously. No way.

Who was he exactly?
Only the vocalist of Black Sabbath and Dio, among others.
EDIT:
Oh, well I knew his name sounded familiar I just didn't know exactly who he is....and I've never really listened to anything by Black Sabbath

They're false, he's likely still alive. Hell, the Wikipedia admins locked the page from editing.

Also worth noting that the Metal Archives are calling BS on it, too.
When his official website says he's dead, I find it hard to be skeptic about the situation.
True.

But still...

He ruined Black Sabbath's sound but otherwise he was alright.

That article was made the 15th of May.

According to his official site, he died the 16th.

So... I'm still sad.

RIP Dio. You'll be missed.
As for those calling bullshit, I'm loathe to trust Blabbermouth who lied earlier. But more reliable sources have confirmed it.

That's sad news.
I grew up with my father praising Ronny and force feeding me his music. Which was nothing bad at all, i always liked his work a lot.

Here some classic from the man for the uninitiated:

Of course, more people read yours though. :p
I prefer yours, it's a lot more professional than my "ZOMG BREAKING NEWS" attempt.

Still, it's the message that's important. I may no longer be the metalhead I was, but I'm cranking Holy Diver loud and downing a beer. I guess his Hunger For Heaven proved ultimately insatiable.

I literally said "Holy crap" when I saw the thread title. I completely forgot that he had cancer.

This is horrible. It's like Ozzy or Bruce Dickenson dying. This man was a legend though, and legends never truly die. ROCK ON. \m/

I'm gonna keep saying R.I.P until I stop feeling sad.
Interesting to note that the Metal Archives aren't buying any of this..
