I'm looking for a good RPG for the original XBOX. Before you say KOTOR 2, I've milked that little gem many times over. I know you guys can recommend something worthwhile. I prefer depth and many hours of gameplay; the longer the better. I can't afford LIVE so no MMO's. Any ideas? Also, has anyone heard anything about KOTOR 3?

Well they're making a knights of the old republic mmo but that doesn't really count, as for good rpgs on the xbox, have you played Morrowind? It's better on the pc but it's still an amazing game.

I'm a console gamer at heart but if you want to get lost in an RPG than PC is the way to go, the mods for games like morrowind and oblivion make a huge difference, I actually kicked myself for buying oblivion on the 360 and then seeing all the mods for the PC version. Ruu

And yes I am a big console lover, I own a Wii a 360 and a PS2 on top of a laptop capable of playing the latest games, except crysis. Fuck you crytek

Morrowind?
That was actually the first title I looked up after I heard Susan Arndt talking about how addicted she was to it. I'm definitely gonna go get that one.

Thanx, fellas keep 'em coming.

I still play Morrowind to this day, I actually think it has more longevity than it's sequel Oblivion, you could try Fable if you haven't, it's relatively short but it's good, I've also heard good things about Jade empire, though I've never played it myself.

Tried the original KOTOR? Beats the heck out of KOTOR II if you ask me. If you have, I'd recommend Jade Empire.

Give Jade Empire a try, its from Bioware who made KOTOR.

Also, yeah, PC is the best for RPGs.

Seconding, thirding and fourthing the suggestion for Jade Empire. I still play it, even though I've got a 360 now.

Now that I have Morrowind, I've got enough RPG indeed to keep me busy for quite some time. Quite the vast microcosom ain't it?! I love this game.

Just finished Jade Empire: it's worth a shot.
Oblivion/Morrowind are good picks as well. Other than that though, I have NO idea.
Wait. Does Beyond Good And Evil count? I never played it, but I heard good things.

I bought Morrowind used, so I didn't get a manual, and I have yet to buy a comprehensive guide. Does anyone know if your character actually moves slower when he's carrying more weight? I'm about to charge into battle 20 points away from being overencumbered. Is it just my imagination, or is my guy dragging his ass?

Get over to www.gamefaqs.com for comprehensive guides to everything Morrowind. Seriously, a few hours on there and you won't have another question. About anything.

don't know how helpful it is but i'd suggest a local library...
a good book can do wonders for escapism...
