Hi,
I'm a big RPG fan, and I have to ask the question although I'm certain it has been asked before... where have all the RPGs gone? I'm not talking Diablo here, or games that blend with RPGs but single category, dead serious (or non serious) role-playing games. The last one I seem to recall that I enjoyed is Eschalon I, but other than that I have yet to see another that I have actually had fun playing. It is strange to me because when I grew up they were the main focus of all gaming industries and now none of them seem to be getting released or they are created by independant companies or are another incarnation of Neverwinter Nights (eww.) At least Baldur's Gate 3 is coming out in the relative future but any RPG that gets made now seems to be an MMORPG. Maybe I am just not seeing them, so if anyone has suggestions, lay them on me. Now i'm off to party.
Cheers,
