Rumor: HD Ico and Shadow of the Colossus Coming In 2011

Interesting. Reselling old PS2 games to PS3 gamers without Backwards compatibility. Another reason I cherish my launch PS3 and frown on Sony for getting rid of it in later consoles.

so you dont want two rare games rereleased in HD, with trophies, and one disc?

I'd rather not have to buy games I already own to play them on my PS3. Bells and Whistles are irrelevant.

Well GoW: Collection has sold 1.2 mil so far, quite impressive. The HD remake probably isn't that expensive to make and would ease fans into their next masterpiece. I'd love it, buy it day one.

Why 2011? Is Last Guardian coming out 2011? That would suck. It was announced for 2009 all the way back, 2 years delay is a little hard to swallow. Anyway, let's hope they get it right and manage their time wisely .

Oh thank goodness since I was thinking of getting both these games after my friend gave me his PS2. Now I'm hoping for Kingdom Hearts to be remastered in HD.

I haven't been able to find Ico yet, but I'm a HUGE fan of Shadow of the Colossus, and this may be my chance to actually play Ico and see if it's as good.

I missed the original release of ICO (not having a PS2 at that point), but fortunately it was re-released (here, anyway) when SotC came out, so I bought both then. Gameplay wise I think I actually love ICO more than SotC (the latter is just too long, and I suck at Grip).

If this is true, I just hope that they don't do what they did with God of War and release the first two after the third is already out. I would like to play Ico and Shadow of the Colossus before The Last Guardian comes out preferably.

It probably won't matter, the three have completely separate storylines.
