He might be a Microsoft employee (or just someone trolling) but that doesn't mean he was instructed to do this by the higher ups. While I don't doubt that Microsoft or any company for that matter would crash a rivals promo to promote themselves they wouldn't want the person doing it to look like an employee.

I don't know how it applies to this specific event but promo people typically aren't employee's of the company they're promoting. There's typically a regional rep who's a legit employee but for the most part the people on the floor are just people looking for a few extra bucks who signed up with a promo agency.

As I've said before I've been enjoying the XBone train wreck as much as anyone but there's a few things that have popped up that just really aren't an issue. Gotta be careful with blowing these up because it will just fuel the MS defenders.

Not exactly the same thing, but when I went to pre order my PS4 yesterday the clerk asked if I was interested in the Xbox One. I know they weren't Microsoft since it was a smaller store and I've seen them working there before, but still.

You know what I just realised? What's with the backpack he's wearing? That a common thing in the US? Just I don't see many people doing that over here in Ireland.
Nitpicky, I know, but I just noticed it and can't unsee it :/

These are actually Phase 2 in Microsoft's plan coming in Q1 2014. Although I must correct you on the details.

Microsoft aren't technically planning to eat babies, but users will have to feed them to the Kinect - rough plans currently state one every 24 hours, but I understand this is subject to change.

Also the poisoning of the water supplies is a crass over exaggeration. Microsoft is simply planning on releasing a compound mixture specially designed for XBox One users comprised of Mountain Dew and Doritos. This will allow gamers easy access to a proven nutritious refueling helping with concentration and reaction times.

This reminds me of this

http://www.nextgenupdate.com/forums/playstation-3/661626-microsoft-pays-bad-last-us-reviews.html

I can understand why everyone is pissed off with Microcrap, but I don't think they are THAT desperate just yet

That said there was quite a few agencies reporting Microcrap paying companies not to show new games with Sony before E3 and to be honest that's more believable though clearly it didn't work if it was true

The funny thing about these little gigs people play out is that it gets attention fairly easy, like people trying to pick a fight.
Let's put this passed us and say Nintendo is awesome :)
