This kind of move would be akin to a person, who tried to destroy a tank with a handgun, running out of bullets and instead thinking that throwing rocks will work.
Heh...I mean...damn.

Look, I know you've got to be exaggerating, but what are you talking about?Cyberjester said:What games are you playing. :S
Games might be, what, $10 cheaper on the PC. Tops. And that's for the basic edition which doesn't have the last few levels of the campaign, each level costing $15, oh, and most of the weapons aren't included for your use, the AI can use them though. Weapons will be released in packs at $10 each. Only $25 if you get all three weapon packs now!
End result, games are more expensive on the PC.

Yeah they called it :/
No that is totally wrong, you should stop saying things that are wrong, like that. Non-commercial copyright infringement is not theft, stop pretending they are the same.Defense said:That's like telling a bank to stop using more protective methods because their safe was broken.
I never said that it was theft. If a bank got its safe broken, even if nothing was stolen, the bank would take extra measures to ensure that it's safer next time to prevent being robbed.rembrandtqeinstein said:No that is totally wrong, you should stop saying things that are wrong, like that. This is more like a situation where there are some people in line at a bank. A guy in a mask walks in and says "this is a stickup". The teller gives him money and the robber gets away. Then the security guard shoots all the other customers.
Well, it's mostly because it's cake on PC.Treblaine said:Wow, people act like Piracy is a uniquely PC problem.
Turns out as soon as it's possible on PS3 they do it to such a bad extent in such a short time, all those people who threw around the "PC Elitist" slurs will be eating their words.
DING DING DING!!! We have a winner. DRM/Keys has not stopped piracy...at all. It has however crippled the 2nd hand sale of PC games. What better way to keep the money flow to you as the dev/prod than to cut off the sale of games 2nd hand that sends no money your way. It's just easier, and more accepted to say "Piracy".I believe this as well. Piracy oftentimes is used as a handy scapegoat when the real thing gaming companies are trying to stop is secondhand sales. Take the PC market for instance, ask yourself does DRM more effectively combat secondhand sales or piracy. Well piracy is as thriving as ever, secondhand sales, not so much. However, it's bad PR to say your putting all this bullshit DRM on there to screw over secondhand sales, and more importantly, your customers. It looks much better to hide behind piracy and simply lie about your real motives.

If this happens, My PS3 loving friends who tell me I own the less superior console will eat their words.
Oh yeah, Lol, we DO do that.JerrytheBullfrog said:I don't think that "PC Elitist" has anything to do with piracy. It has to do with us PC gamers being dicks who insult consoles and people who play on themTreblaine said:Wow, people act like Piracy is a uniquely PC problem.
