Well call me a immature 4 year old but I thought Saints Row 3 was funny straight through as were the others. I beat GTA 3, VC, SA, 4 and while 3 and Vice city were amazing they slowly got more serious and annoying to me. I get what you're saying though
Each to their own, as you said. Frankly, SA never got serious. If anything, it got more outlandish (Stealing a top-secret fighter jet from a Naval Aircraft Carrier at the behest of a government agent? yah).

No way. Any company is gonna make you sign an NDA, which persist even if he's not employed, according to terms stipulated in the article. Rockstar is too big to have a loophole like that, even if the NDA is in the employment agreement.

So this all sounds like lies to me.

Some of them i even HOPE are lies...
Well, quite possible. it depends what he did within the company. Admin and Technical staff tend not to have access unless given or stolen, so either the person liberated some files before leaving, or he just thought there wasn't much else left to lose and said "Fuck it, I'll break the NDA." People who lose their jobs have a certain... dislike towards the company that just fired them, and do stupid/illegal things.

Well GTA IV was too 'real' and boring with only the bank mission being the real fun of the game and this sounds even worse. I just don't see the appeal of this level of realism in any game, this is why Saints Row just took over. Far more crazy, far more fun and just 10x more batshit.

Are you telling me you can't hide behind a wall and recover bullet wounds? Damned liar! :U

Yeah I guess I see the appeal in that way, I don't think I'd like it but I get it. I guess it's more like The Getaway, except good.
Well aside from that and the fact that you seemingly have infinite ammo, but the shooting sections are scattered through the game rather than a regular thing, you're not even allowed to shoot unless the enemies themselves are armed, although I do miss the days of health bars.

I really like the map news. Plus this confirms (if it's true)that we are back in Las Santos. Sounds good!
There was a trailer too. You should see it sometime.
Even if it's just Los Santos (and not all SanAn), if it's 5x LC2.0, that aint bad. I'm just curious as to how much the other 2 cities will eventually cost.
The rumor I like most is the Chinatown Drug Wars feature being included and expanded. That's what I spent most my time doing in GTA-CW.

Oh yippee. The one thing GTA needed was the gunfights to become MORE realistic. Yeesh.
The one actually good thing about GTA 4 was the gun fights. Do you... not remember the PS2 era ones?

And I really hope this means that they're gonna take out auto aim this time around. I had it turned off in 4, and the game played fine. I just plain couldn't get into the multiplayers of RDR and GTA4 because of the auto aim.

Anyways, this all sounds pretty interesting and not too far fetched. It's sounding like a nice blend between the realistic GTA 4, and that more insane originals.

I'm not entirely sure how the internet thought YOU said that.

Ummmm...

*dances*

It appears to have mistaken 8-bit_jack for you, as his post at the bottom of the first page was the one I meant to quote. I just plain don't know why it supplemented his name for yours!

Oh, you edited down a bigger quote. I was like wha, I never said that :U

I mean don't get me wrong I was thinking that already considering when I worked for a business I wasn't allowed to say anything for like ...3 years about them.
