Russian Roulette?

I played a game of Russian Roulette during a game of d20 future, and I survived after getting shot in the head.

As for real life, nope, I'm good, even if you use an 8 round revolver.

As a fun game I offered to play Russian roulette at a party with a bunch of drunk friends- brought the revolver, one bullet, and passed around the gun. No one got shot, because I secretly never put the bullet in, but it was quite hilarious after a few rounds. They were freaking out more and more after each time, becuase they felt that the more they shot the gun, the more likely it was that they would die...They were drunk, I dunno.
But yeah, playing it with a nerf gun sounds hella fun.

This game is the first thing I think about when the subject of Russian Roulette comes up.

It was funny. I just played it again and got all the way through 5 shots without spinning the chamber. It was Gimp's turn and he still pulled the trigger even with a 100% chance of dieing.

I'm pretty sure you don't have to do that in a real game.

Well we used to play Beer Hunter. You get a six pack (works best with cans) and shake one up and then every one takes a beer and opens it next to their head pointed at their ear. Di di mau! Di di mau!

Holy cow, the Beer Hunter, from the Bob and Doug McKenzie comedy album! I loved that album as a kid, but I had completely forgotten about that drinking game. Well guess who turned 21 last month? Must... buy... six pack...

OT: I would probably enjoy playing Russian Roulette with one of those nerf revolvers, but I wouldn't want to play it with an airsoft gun, and I would never do it with a real gun. Unlike the Russian soldiers stationed in Siberia who supposedly invented the game, I do not have a death wish.

Me and My friend and his brother played it with one of his brother's stupid Nerf guns. I was the only one that made it out alive.

EDIT: (But seriously, almost every time I play it with a fake gun I win so I dunno. If I was in some crazy epic situation where either me or the villain had to die then I might.)

The game is typically played with massive bets being put on who will blow their brains out first. It's usually done by people who have mafia bets (or actually *for* the mafia to pay off a debt); playing it with airsoft or nerf just to see "who gets a pellet in the dead" defeats the object entirely.

A weaker though still pretty hardcore version is to place your hand on a flat surface and shoot it point blank with the other hand. It's a non lethal version but still with permanent ramifications.

I have too many things I want to do in the world. Why take a stupid risk for adrenaline, or whatever kick it is people get out of it. So no, I wouldn't play.
