So Rooster Teeth decided to release a trailer after all, huh? Well let's see how it looks.

Hmm... meh. Looks cool, but it doesn't really excite me. Just looks like every action movie trailer. We do get to hear Vic Mignogna for the first time, but I'm still pretty much convinced that he's going to be another Spirit Albarn.

And the trailer almost feels like it's contradicting the new OP but that could be just me. But overall... yeah.

I excited from the trailer and lol I notice that it look like Blake does have another cat trait (there was a glimpse of Blake going star eyes for a fish). Also it look like we finally get to see the rest of Sun and Neptune teammates aswell.

Hm. Not exactly a masterpiece. But there's violence, and anime chicks. I'll give it 10/10.

There was actually a clip of that scene with Blake when RT did the panal earlier. Hopefully Sun and Neptune's team won't get ignored like they did last time.

Agreed, it was pointless to see them in the second opening and half of them didn't appear! Same apply to the Coffee team (rabbit girl team) but in saying so they were no shot of them in the trailer or they are keeping them in the dark for now.

Ugh, after the stunt RT pulled with Velvet and Coco last year in that "epic" finale, I honestly hope team CFVY doesn't appear again, which could be possible considering how we don't see them in either the new OP or the new trailer. I actually wouldn't complain given how Coco practically ruined the series for me the moment she brought out her weapon.

RWBY is a show that I like, but I don't quite see it living up to its full potential. Whether its a problem with manpower, budget, resources, time, whatever, but I see a potentially GREAT show being held back by something. Lots of plot threads and teases out there that could really lead somewhere interesting are there, and haven't really been resolved yet, but it's such a long buildup that I very much doubt the payoff will match expectations. Still, I'm looking forward to it. If nothing else, Jeff Williams' soundtrack will be a nice pump-up rush.

As long as they maintain or exceed the standard of "a total trainwreck in the plotting department, but good everywhere else" I'll be happy.

Woo!

Can't wait to watch it. I'm hoping they continue their upward trend with quality and cool fights.

Well, this is an odd trailer

so we open on scenes and dialogue from the first two seasons why?

Vic's voice is fine if he is going for the scruffy hardened fighter but one thing I noticed is that he's using a two-handed sword but this contradicts the fact that he taught Ruby how to use a scythe unless the thing i said would drive me mad is true:

I swear if Qrow is a Ragna expy, I will freak out and probably get angry.

Also, wow that small fight between Winter and Qrow was poorly done: very choppy frame wise to the point of looking like stop motion. Looks like the animation has decayed

Yeah, only way the series would be more broken for me is if they bring in any number of Blazblue copys. I mean we already got someone similar to Hakuman in design and weapon; what's next? Taokaka showing up demanding food?

It's the writing. I can forgive all the other things when it first came out two years ago but what hurts the series the most(in fact, nearly kills it) is the writing. Miles and Kerry can't write a cohesive story even if their lives depended on it and they basically don't give a shit of what other people think because they're so in love with themselves.
