Righty ho. After much inner debate, I came up with an idea I'd like to try. I confess my knowledge of both the series and the Fate system is somewhat lacking, but I adapt quickly. Will have a character idea up shortly.

EDIT: Lo and behold! 'Tis mine sheet!

Tentative Name: Jake Browne OR Theodore Rosso. Whichever works best.

Species:Faunus. Dog. Basenji to be precise.

High Concept:Tenaciously Loyal. The embodiment of canine loyalty, he's fiercely loyal to another character (preferably a human, though not necessarily, if the lore forbids it). Would guard said character with his life.

Trouble:Have You No Pride? Loyalty to a Human has a tendency to attract stigma and derisive looks from other Faunus. (This part is a work in progress. If the Trouble needs to be something more substantial, I can work something out, no problem).

Weapon:Lupus and Vulpes. Two wakizashi with extendable grips that, when joined together form a long naginata. Prefers not to use long-range weapons.

Semblance:Extreme Speed. To make up for the lack of range, can close distances in a flash. Also provides other, somewhat gravity defying mobility perks.

Lemme know what you think. Changes? Complaints, etc.

EDIT 2: Edited the semblance. Apparently being a Faunus gives me superior senses anyway.

Tentative Name: Rune Knight
Species: Faunus- Ram(curled horns)
High Concept: Defender of the weak. Even with his bad temper he will not bully those weaker than himself and will defend them as best he can if he see's it as well as putting himself in harms way to make sure those around him are in less danger.
Trouble: Bad temper. Easy to be made angry and more than willing to be physical when mad. Biggest things are slurs to his family or friends and bullying.
Weapon: Diamond Trident. Long trident with leaf blade in the middle that folds down into a tri-barrol shot gun. Shoots dust infused rounds of slugs and buckshot and dragons breath rounds. (in most combat it is slug or buckshot in the outer 2 and dragons breath in the center.)

Here ya go.

Tentative Name: Tyrian Cobalt
Species: Human

High Concept: Background Supporter - Tyrian lives to be helpful to others through any way he possibly can, but prefers to be kept out of the limelight. He doesn?t aim to be the leader, but will support the leader as long as he is being led in the right path, even if others see him as more capable. While others may move towards the front, he will stay in the back or sidelines, if possible, and lend aid to where he can.

Trouble: Broken Family - Tyrian is the only legitimate son of the patriarch of a big and powerful family, and is the youngest to boot. Because of his birth he is poised to take control of the family business when his father relinquishes it to him. This led to his family being divided in several factions, and a layer of mistrust exists between all family members.

Weapon: Janusynge [Ja-nu-singe] - Twin blades that combine to form a longbow that is powered by Dust for its projectiles. One blade is called Arche and the other is called Telos. When combined Arche sends out the bow?s string into Telos. A separate compartment that Tyrian wears is the source of his arrows, which are retractable and yet strong. He can use his semblance to heat or chill the arrows for added affect.

Semblance: Thermal - Tyrian has the ability to manipulate the temperature of objects and of people, including himself. He is able to cause heat or cold as he wills it, typically heating with his left hand while cooling with his right.

Tentative Name: Benson(Ben) Watt
Species: Faunus, kangaroo
High Concept:
Electro Blitz Gorilla (Uses speed and electric dust magic to dominate the battlefield, dealing as much damage as he can in as short a time as possible and then returning to safety to wither his opponent with gurilla warfare)

Wisecracking freedom fighter(Very cocky and fights for his people, and those who are treated unjustly)

Sacrificial life giver.(His life is less meaningful than his comrades, would gladly die for them)

Trouble:

Contemplative Future Hunter(worries about what is the right choice to make and if he's doing the best to ensure everyones safety)

Cracked smile (Smiles to make his comrades happy, but is secretly suffering from past torments)

My way (Once his mind has been made up he cannot change his ways, and will see whatever task through until the end unless stopped forcibly.)

Non existent relatives: (Most of his family were killed by the creatures of grimm, was raised by a woman named Bella who found him wounded and bleeding, saved his life and raised him alone)

Weapon: Belladonna

A set of two massive hand-glaives, about s long from point to point as his upperbody (its like a chakram but isnt XD its hard to explain, look up krull glaive and you'll get my point only much bigger XD) with three bladed points that can ignite with lightning elemental dust, uses this to attack his enemies with boomerang like throws which always return back to him or assault at a closer range, can combine the two large glaives and shapeshift them into a Sniper rifle with electric rounds to bounce and chain to other enemies.

So. Here's a sheet. Because reasons.

Tentative Name:
Millian Lilla (Lilla is norwegian for Purple. If this isn't acceptable, I can alter it to something less foreign :p)

Species:
Human.

High Concept:
Surfer-Dude With a Sitar: Imagine what you'd get if you mixed a surfer dude with a musician, if only slightly more charming.

Trouble:
Chill, Dude: Somewhat lazy and carefree, unable to take most things serious.

Weapon:
Sitar/Harpoon combination, called "The Rocking Sea".

Semblance:
Sound-Waves: Millian's special ability is parted in two parts. There is the ability to control any form of water --as well as most liquids- through the use of sound-waves, either his sitar, or, less commonly, other sources like his voice. He also controls sound-waves on their own, which can be used to distract or confuse opponents.

Tentative Name: Amber Aries

Species: Faunus (Ibex/Goat)

High Concept: Brutish Assault Huntress-in-Training - Aggressive in battle, laid back out. Very loosely based off of the Greek God Pan.

Trouble: Racism Magnet - Despite the fact she "doesn't subscribe to that racial tension crap", she is unavoidably pulled into it thanks to both being a Faunus and having a parent in the White Fang.

Weapon: "Aeris Spina" (Bronze Thorns) - Spiked Gauntlets / Retractable Chain Whips

Semblance: Kinetic Amplification - Amber can amplify the kinetic force behind her blows, not only making them hit harder, but even creating shockwaves on impact.

Name: Diamond Blauw
Species:Faunus (Badger)

High Concept: Lead Initiator/Scout, a loner for the most part, she takes pride in her ability to handle herself and is rarely afraid, she considers herself someone to change the anti-Faunus views, either through her own achievements, or force if it is needed.

Trouble: Trigger Temper and Highly Territorial, Diamond is very protective of what she considers hers, or under her protection, and is not the most patient when it comes to anti-Faunus views or someone attacking her "territory", having lived with them her whole life, growing tired of it quickly and either forgetting the person completely, or putting them in their place if they proceed to boast of their accomplishments over Faunus kind

Weapon: Ivory Icarians

Housed inside two gauntlets covering her forearms are two sword blades, specifically detatchable falchions that can be thrown as returning boomerangs.

Semblance: Personal Levitation, Diamond's Semblance allows her to fly, though without the help of her Ivory Icarians, she doesn't have much control of where she goes.

Tentative Name: Schwarz Zaan
Species: Human
High Concept: Romantic Knight Prince-in-Training: A person who's chief desire in battle is fair combat, Schwarz likes to attack his opponents directly, drawing out the fight just long enough to end it conclusively with a Flourish.
Trouble: Intolerant: Of incompetence, of failure, of Faunus, of almost anything that displeases him, Schwarz has little patience for most things. If he gives anything he dislikes the time of day, it would only be because of social circumstance.
Weapon: Blooming Anemone (Sword/Gun-equipped with varying Dust ammunition)
Semblance: Flourish: Schwarz's Aura builds up during combat, allowing for a strike of incredible power (in non-dedicated form, the way it appears is mostly up to him) to be made. The power can also be stored for a longer period to allow for brief moments of overcharged ability.

Tentative Name: Chesshie Heliotrope
Species: Faunus (Feline)
High Concept: Swift Espionage huntress-in-training, a (former) literal cat burglar who can get in and out of any place easily. Based on the Cheshire Cat from the 1950'S versions of Disney's Alice in Wonderland
Trouble: Greedy Eye - aside from being a (former) thief, Chesshie is a it of a kleptomaniac who steals anything shiny that catches her eye, and is a borderline hoarder.
Weapon: Queen's Mallet- a giant pink and purple mallet resembling a giant version of the Japanese child's toy known as a kendama, only the ball part of the kendama is a spiked mace. The head of the mallet also hides a small revolver cannon.
(NOTE: if this ts a bit too much, I have an alternative in mind)
Semblence: Translocation - Chesshie has the ability to cause the atoms of her body to loose cohesion, essentially evaporating and reforming elsewhere. However, she can't go very far while evaporated, and can only do so for a short amount of time, or else run the risk of permanently being disintegrated. Also, it is possible that she might be blown anway by a strong wind while in an evaporated state.

Tentative Name: Elva Dias
Species: Human

High Concept: Excitable, Axe-Wielding Girl. She's extremely extroverted and enthusiastic, especially in regards to competition and fighting.

Trouble: Fear of Abandonment - Elva is terrified of being left alone. She draws her confidence and strength from the people around her.

Weapon: Labrys - A double bladed axe with dust powered propulsion jets in the head to increase the force of blows. Axe blades fold down to transform into a belt-fed light machine gun.

Semblance: Electricity - When she gets into heavy combat, Elva's hair and body crackles with electricity. She can channel this into Labrys to electrify her opponents.
Terratina. said:
Tentative Name: Jet Tylluan
Species: Faunus (Owl)
High Concept: Reformed White Fang Vigilante - Jet once fought for Faunus Rights with the White Fang, now he chooses to fight that which threatens everyone in Remnant: Creatures of Grimm.
Trouble: Stubborn Solitude - In short, not good with people as he has little patience for them. However, Jet is more than happy to work as part of a team, just don't expect him to join in on small talk.
Weapon: Shadowstriker - A sniper rifle with a tripod always attached. Three wicked blades make up the tripod and the weapon can fold around to turn the gun into a trident.
Semblance: Shadowcloak - Can merge with shadows briefly, becoming invisible. Limited to shadow availability and only really has a use in stealth.
We at Lodestar would like to congratulate those that made the cut, and express gratitude towards the rest for their interest in our fine academy.

As Arcanist said, welcome to Lodestar. We'll begin the advanced character creation in a bit (likely in a skype chat if everyone is available)

To all who didn't make it in, please know that it wasn't an easy choice; we'd have liked to accept every character if we could have.

Tentative Name: Ethan Steele
Species: Human
High Concept: The Man of Stone - A fighting style that focuses on leveraging the immense strength and resilience granted by his Semblance. Timid and soft-spoken outside combat. Based on an elemental theme - 'Earth'.
Trouble: Not as Tough as He Looks - A crippling lack of self-confidence, coupled with an inability to handle emotional stress, the result of losing both of his parents to a Dust mining accident in his youth.
Weapon: Irdenkrieg - a massive metal bo staff that collapses into an eight-barreled gattling gun.
Semblance: Soul of the Earth - Ethan has the unique ability to tap into the Aura intrinsic to Remnant's stone and soil. This has two main effects - herculean strength, and supernatural resilience. However, this carries with it the unplesant side-effect of making him 5x heavier than a normal person - not normally an issue with his amplified strength, but distruptions to his Aura could(and often do) greatly truncate his agility.

For reference, we are beginning "Phase 1" of character creation.

Phase 1 is "The First Adventure". In this section you describe one moment in your character's history that seems important to you. It should be the event that pushed you to go toward Lodestar.

If you'd prefer to save that event for a "First/Second Interaction", find someone you're willing to collaborate with and let Arc and I know. If you do this, you can use this first aspect for any part of your character's history you feel is extremely important and save the actual introduction to Lodestar/being a hunter/huntress for the First or Second Interaction.

Example:
Let's say Alice (a character) decides to join Lodestar because her mother was killed by a monster. That would be the "First Adventure". However, if in reality that monster was actually Bob (another character), than that's actually a "First Interaction" and so that aspect should be saved for Phase 2

You should write up a brief summary of the adventure (maybe a paragraph or two) along with a single sentience as a "Title" for the aspect

*Note: First/Second Interactions are the two character connections all characters need to have.

...Hoo boy, that's a lotta stuff to do. Here's a wip:

Name: Chesshie Heliotrope
Age/Gender/etc: 18, Female
Appearance: Chesshie has shoulder-length purple hair with pink streaks and bangs, usually held in place by a ponytail and a big pink bow, as well as a striped tail, and golden eyes. She usually wears a pink tank top under a light purple button-up top, elbow-length pink sleeveless gloves, and a knee-length light purple skort with belts crossing over it in an x-pattern, and thigh-high pink boots.
Personality: Free-spirited, fun-loving and independent are the best words to describe Chesshie, who would much rather do her own thing than let anyone tell her what to do... which might be hard considering her new career. Due to her upbringing, Chesshie has a deep-rooted appreciation for material items, and as such tends to hoard anything she can. She has a particular fondness for money and shiny things. However, she has a soft spot for children, and, on occasion, will donate some of her money to charities. Chesshie has no interest in the Human/Faunus conflicts, though she finds being persecuted because of her race rather irritating.
Refresh: 3

Aspects
High Concept: Swift Espionage huntress-in-training, a (former) literal cat burglar who can get in and out of any place easily. Based on the Cheshire Cat from the 1950's version of Disney's Alice in Wonderland
Trouble: Greedy Eye - aside from being a (former) thief, Chesshie is a it of a kleptomaniac who steals anything shiny that catches her eye, and is a borderline hoarder.
First Adventure (what you gained/learned): On Her Own- Chesshie did not know her parents, instead, she grew up in an orphanage for Faunus children. But it wasn't the best of institutions, so she tried to run away a few times, finally succeeding when she discovered her Seeming ability. Life on the streets wasn't easy, but she managed to make her way by becoming a thief, growing to enjoy the thrill of breaking into (mainly rich) people's houses and stealing their goods. This is how she came across her beloved weapon, the Queen's Mallet, which she modified somewhat to suit her needs. But her luck couldn't last forever, and a few months ago, she was captured by the local police force, and given a choice: either go to jail, or use her abilities as a Huntress. Naturally, she chose the latter, and now Chesshie Heliotrope is just beginning her Huntress training.
First Interaction: A Thief in the Night - Shortly before the incarceration that would lead her to joining Lodestar, Chesshie was in the city where Jade lived. Just for a lark, she broke into the school and began nicking small items from the various rooms, including a silver ring from Jade's room. She didn't think much of it at the time, but this might come back to bite her.
Second Interaction: It's a Small World - Chesshie and Dia grew up in the same orphanage, but didn't really associate with each other that much. Years later, Chesshie just so happened to have snuck aboard the same zepplin that Dia and her group infiltrated and hijacked. She barely managed to escape, but before she managed to get away, Chesshie noticed another shape flying from the zepplin, someone who she thought looked very familiar... Ever since then, Chesshie has resolved to stay out of Human/Faunus conflicts, though she is interested in finding that familiar face...

Skills:
Great- Burglary
Good- Aura, Athletics
Fair- Empathy, Fight, Deceive
Average- Shoot, Drive, Will, Craft
Stunts:
"Marked Target' - Allows Chesshie to use Burglary in place of Stealth to evade targets she's observed or studied.
"Seizing the Moment" - Chesshie can use your Burglary skill in an attempt to disarm an opponent?
"Was That Always There?" - Allows Chesshie to substitute Burglary for Fight for an attack action by planting explosives on a target, provided the target is unaware of Chessie or her hostile intentions at the time.
Weapon: Queen's Mallet- a giant pink and purple mallet resembling a giant version of the Japanese child's toy known as a kendama, only the ball part of the kendama is a spiked mace. The head of the mallet also hides a small revolver cannon.
Aura/Semblance: Trans-location - Chesshie has the ability to cause the atoms of her body to loose cohesion, essentially evaporating and reforming elsewhere. However, she can't go very far while evaporated, and can only do so for a short amount of time, or else run the risk of permanently being disintegrated. Also, it is possible that she might be blown away by a strong wind while in an evaporated state.

EDIT: Updated the Stunts/Interactions bits

Name: Schwarz Zaan
Age/Gender/etc: 18
Appearance: Clean, posh and closely trimmed, Schwarz's figure and physique do little to hide his upbringing. His black hair is cut short and styled with a front-comb. His brown eyes, while oddly devoid of a rich-kids naivete, nevertheless gleam bright and healthy. His outfit is always professional, regardless of the time of day or what he's doing. A favored outfit of his is the "Royal Garb", the formal dress of the Zaan family, but adjusted to Schwarz's personal style. The outfit is mostly black with red trim, with the most noticeable feature being on the short-coat with is embroidered with golden cords/tassels.
Personality: Proud, but not entirely unaware that it comes before the fall, Schwarz holds himself and the world around him to high standards. However, when not criticizing the world for not dancing to his tune, he's a man who finds pleasure in the romantic aspects of life. Music, poetry, the more artistic forms of expression speak to him far louder than words.
Refresh: 2

[HEADING=3]Aspects[/HEADING]
High Concept: "Romantic Knight" Prince-in-Training

Trouble: Intolerant - Of incompetence, of failure, of Faunus, of almost anything that displeases him. Schwarz has little patience for most things; and even if he did give anything he dislikes the time of day, it would only be because of social circumstance.

First Adventure (what you gained/learned): "Bound by Tradition" - The Zaan family has, for generations, trained at the Lodestar School of War, honing the family heirs to become great Hunters before their inheritance forces a "retirement". Thinking himself already a qualified fighter, Schwarz resisted the pressure from within the family to attend the school. However, his resistance wasn't to last, as his father put forward an ultimatum. By threatening his place in the family line of succession, Schwarz was practically forced off the family estate and onto the road to Lodestar.

First Interaction (what you gained/learned): "Wounded Family Pride" - Schwarz's aunt, Rosa Zaan, was once a great Huntress, wielding a weapon of her own design, Queen's Heart, in her fight against the Creatures of Grimm. In that fight, she met the love of her life, but tragedy soon robbed her of the happy ending she desired. However, the weapon remained a source of pride for both her and the Zaan family...until it was stolen one night and never recovered. A lover of his aunt's tales of better days, Schwarz greatly respected the family relic, and has been pained by it's loss since it was stolen.

Second Interaction (what you gained/learned): "Sins of the Father" - When Schwarz was younger, he remembered one night at a family dinner where most of the older participants were engaged in a single topic: the loss of a mine. He knew little about the situation, but the conversation was focused on the details surrounding the mine. Specifically, the member of the family who ran it, Rot Zaan, who was a pariah within the family for being incompetent, so everyone appeared to figure that the loss of the mine was not only his fault, but inevitable. Either way, Schwarz remembers the family discussed little about the mine other than the explosion that destroyed it and the slight financial loss the family would temporary sustain.

[HEADING=3]Skills[/HEADING]
Great Skills (+4): Lore
Good Skills (+3): Fight, Resources
Fair Skills (+2): Shoot, Aura, Athletics
Average Skills (+1): Contacts, Investigate, Will, Physique

Zaan Family Techniques - Once per encounter, Schwarz may instead use his Lore skill over the related skill in a combat situation. "Being from a family with a proud tradition of Hunters and Huntresses, the Zaan family has developed many techniques that have been passed down the family line for generations!"

Mr. Moneybags - In a situation where an ostentatious display of wealth is applicable, Schwarz may use his Resources skill in lieu of the Rapport skill. "The Zaan family fortune is inexhaustible, so long as Dust remains in Vacuo. Anyone who aids the Zaan family shall be justly compensated."

The Family Business - Once per Session, Schwarz can acquire a Boost representing the arrival of aid from Zaan-owned industries that he has called upon. "The Family's primary source of wealth is Dust, but the Zaan family has branched out into other avenues of profit. Chief among them is manufacturing of war materials."

The Final Strike - Once per scene, where Schwarz's opponent is about to take a consequence, he can spend a Fate Point to increase the consequence's severity. "The most important skill to melee combat is to seize the perfect opportunity to deal the most damage. If you miss this chance, you can't say you've truly won."

[HEADING=3]Extras[/HEADING]
Weapon: Blooming Anemone (Sword/One-handed gun-equipped with Dust ammunition that can be switched out through the handle)

Aura/Semblance: Flourish - For a number of times a day, equal to Schwarz's Aura skill, Schwarz may combine his Aura skill to a combat skill. If it is not used in a combat round, his Aura "charges" and the number that would be added to the combat skill increases by one. However, it does not persist. If combat ends, the charges must be re-accumulated in the next combat encounter.

Name: Ethan Steele

Age/Gender/etc: 17, Male, Human

Appearance: Standing at six feet tall and with an average build, with short, messy, wood-brown brown hair and bright blue eyes. A large scar, likely from a burn, pockmarks the right side of his face, extending from his chin up to below his eye. The rest of his facial features are hard and well-set, giving him a very severe appearance.

His combat attire consists of a set of heavy armor - gunmetal grey with white trim, consisting of a cuirass, armplates, fingerless gauntlets, and greaves. A hooded white cloak sits on his shoulders. It appears perpetually rough and coated in a thin layer of dust and smattered with dirt - when asked how frequently he cleans his armor, he responds(with a flush) that he does so very, very regularly. A stylized silhouette of a mountain is embossed on the armor's right shoulderpiece.

Personality: Timid and soft-spoken, Ethan is far from the the archetypal 'tough guy' his appearance makes him out to be. Lacking the self-esteem to consistently stand up for himself or his beliefs, he shies away from conflict, preferring to avoid sources of stress and attempting to sidestep problems instead of facing them head-on. He doesn't handle emotional duress very well, shutting down and pushing people away when his personal demons come knocking.

Despite this apparent emotional turmoil, however, Ethan is legitimately good-natured and eager to do what he can to make Remnant a better place. When the chips are down, he's capable of moments of legitimate courage and willpower, casting aside his insecurities and doubts for the greater good.

[HEADING=3]Aspects[/HEADING]

High Concept: The Man of Stone

Trouble: Not as Tough as he Looks

First Adventure (what you gained/learned): Survivor's Guilt - Ethan was raised as the child of a pair of married Dust miners. As part of their attempts to bring him into the 'family business', they took him on a tour of their mine the day he turned ten. However, a mining accident lit up a newly-discovered vein of red Dust, causing a massive explosion. Ethan survived by instinctually manifesting his Semblance for the first time, but his parents weren't so lucky. This incident has haunted him ever since, as he blames himself for the accident.

First Interaction (what you gained/learned): Big Brother Instinct - As Ethan and his twin sister Elva were being evacuated from the mine after its collapse, a massive band of Grimm set upon the haphazard convoy. Seriously wounded and constantly slipping in and out of consciousness, Ethan could only watch in terror as the Ursae tore their defenders apart. He watched helplessly, too, as an Ursa Major readied to slay his sister. Luckily, the timely intervention of a team of Hunters from Lodestar saved the day. Though Elva watched with stunned awe, Ethan took a much different lesson from the encounter - that training to be a Hunter was the only way he could protect Elva - the only family he had left.

Second Interaction (what you gained/learned): Master Weaponsmith - upon joining Sanctuary, one of Vacuo's premier preparatory academies for aspiring Hunters and Huntresses, Ethan set upon working to catch up with his fellow students in combat-related skills. However, his timid temperament, combined with his less-than-affluent background, made him a prime target for bullies. He was eventually rescued from this tormenting fate by one of the most promising students in the entire academy - Jade Bordeleon - and in gratitude, Ethan crafted her signature weapon.

[HEADING=3]Skills[/HEADING]
Great Skills (+4): Fight
Good Skills (+3): Aura, Physique
Fair Skills (+2): Craft, Shoot, Empathy
Average Skills (+1): Rapport, Athletics, Lore, Notice

Extras:

Stunts:

Meteor Strike
Ethan gains a unique Physique attack action. Ethan and his target roll opposed Physique checks - if Ethan succeeds, his target is forced to move from his current zone to an adjacent zone of Ethan's choosing. If Ethan succeeds with style, he can choose to either inflict a 1-shift hit or force the target to move two zones instead.
"If this hurts, I'm really, REALLY sorry!"

Earth-Shattering Force
When Ethan succeeds a Fight attack with style and chooses to reduce the result by one to gain a boost, Ethan gains a full situation aspect with a free invocation instead.
A clean hit from Irdenkrieg spells doom for all but the mightiest.

Hewn of Stone
For a number of times per day equal to his Aura, Ethan can add his Physique to a roll to defend against any physical attack.
After the accident, the doctors took to calling Ethan the Boy of Stone - as no normal human could have possibly survived such a blast.

Weapon: Irdenkrieg(Earthen War) - a massive metal bo staff that collapses into an eight-barreled gattling gun.

Aura/Semblance: Soul of the Earth - Ethan has the unique ability to tap into the Aura intrinsic to Remnant's stone and soil. This has two main effects - herculean strength, and supernatural resilience. However, this carries with it the unpleasant side-effect of making him 5x heavier than a normal person - not normally an issue with his amplified strength, but distruptions to his Aura could(and often do) greatly truncate his agility.

Mechanically, this has two effects: One, a bonus to all Physique checks equal to his Aura(in effect, raising his skill by that amount), and two, the ability to, at the cost of a fate point, clear one of his stress boxes, once again allowing for its usage.

Name: Amber Aries

Age/Gender/etc: 17, Female, Ibex Faunus

Appearance: Tall, stocky and surprisingly muscular for a girl her age, Amber is best described as a girl clearly built for strength. Though she isn't extremely brawny, she is noticeably toned with a very athletic build, particularly in the arms and legs. As a side effect, her curves are rather subtle. Her skin is fair, though she has more than a few freckles on her nose and either cheek, while her face is soft despite a firm jaw and razor-sharp nose. Both of her eyes are constantly hidden by her bangs, and whenever she smiles it reveals a slight gap between her two front teeth. As a Faunus, an Ibex Faunus in particular, she has two long, back-curving horns that poke out of her hair from either temple, while her hair, ginger in color, is worn long and straight to the middle of her back.

Whenever she isn't wearing a school uniform, she prefers to wear a deep bronze tube-top under a black denim vest with an orange, stylized Ibex skull emblazoned on the back, along with a pair of jeans that have clearly seen better days, reinforced with orange metal shin-plates and knee pads. Regardless of what she happens to be wearing, she prefers simple and practical footwear, usually a pair of sturdy boots.

Personality: Easy-going bordering on lazy, Amber is the kind of girl that prefers to go with the flow and follow the lead of someone else, provided they know what they're doing, or at least look like it. While she is socially inept and awkward besides, she's a rather friendly sort and has a tendency to say exactly what she happens to be thinking, meaning that she doesn't exactly have much in the way of tact. But even with her friendly attitude she is just as susceptible to discrimination and racism as any other Faunus: Despite the fact that she despises getting into racial conflict, she can't help but speak her mind, and this often means getting into either an argument, or an outright fistfight in defense of the Faunus. Added to that, she is particularly stubborn whenever she sets her mind to a goal, or an obstacle seems to get in her way.

In battle, however, Amber is a ruthless and aggressive fighter, one who believes in keeping on the offensive as much as possible. This means that she puts little stock in defense, unless it means the age-old saying of "The best defense is a good offense", though even she isn't entirely sure if it's actually supposed to be the other way around. Whether fighting Grimm or other people however, she's a brawler at heart, preferring up-close fisticuffs over almost everything, though she has been getting more and more fond of Aeris Spina's barbed whips.

Refresh: 3

High Concept: Brutish Assault Huntress-in-Training - Aggressive in battle, laid back out. Very loosely based off of the Greek God Pan, albeit gender-flipped.

Trouble: Racism Magnet - Despite the fact she "doesn't subscribe to that racial tension crap", she is unavoidably pulled into it thanks to both being a Faunus and having a parent in the White Fang. It certainly doesn't help that she is still on the fence in regards to the White Fang, and tends to be very blunt, particularly when angry.

First Adventure (what you gained/learned): "Prove it." - As a child, Amber had always admired the strength and renown of the Huntsmen and Huntresses of Vacuo, but that admiration only grew during her time in school. While she often got into fights due to her Faunus heritage, she realized that the Huntsmen and Huntresses were as free as a Faunus could get of that stigma in the Kingdom. It was after yet another fight in her first semester in the Lantern Community School that she called out after one of the beaten human boys taunted her, saying that they would think twice about discriminating against her if she was a Huntress out of the illustrious Lodestar School of War. They simply said "Prove it.". It was then that she was determined to get into Lodestar and do just that.

First Interaction (what you gained/learned): Family Ties to the White Fang - Five years before Amber was accepted into Lodestar, her mother left to join the White Fang to fight for Faunus equality. While her father worked for the Schnee Dust Company and kept his head down, her mother chafed under the discrimination and hate more and more as time went on, before she felt the overwhelming need to do something about it. Before she left, she asked Amber to come with her. Amber refused, and while she understood, her mother still left in the hopes of making Vacuo more accepting of the Faunus for the sake of her family. Even with the radical change in how the White Fang does things, Amber is still unsure how she feels about them: While they may go too far, she doesn't want to condemn her mother either.

Second Interaction (what you gained/learned): Daughter of a Dust Miner - Like many other Faunus, and quite a few Humans, that are in dire need of employment, Amber's father is a Dust Miner, specifically for the Schnee Dust Company. Working in the mines in Vacuo, the pay is the only saving grace, with the work relations being horrid, and the work conditions being almost as bad. With reports of occasional explosions, cave-ins, and other hazards in mines with substandard safety precautions, her father is lucky to have avoided them, unlike some other miners.

Great Skills (+4): Fight

Good Skills (+3): Physique, Shoot

Fair Skills (+2): Crafting, Provoke, Empathy

Average Skills (+1): Aura, Athletics, Rapport, Will

Stunts: Grievous Harm With A Body - For the cost of a Fate Point, Amber can use her Shoot skill to immobilize an enemy and use them as a weapon against any other enemies in her 'zone'.
"Sometimes, people make the best flails."

Battering Ram - Whenever Amber is racially provoked by an enemy in combat, she gains a +2 Fight boost but a -2 penalty to any Defensive check against that enemy.
"Two hits, I hit you, you hit the ground!"

Get Over Here - For the cost of a Fate Point, Amber can use her Shoot skill to forcefully pull an enemy from any adjacent 'zone' and pull them into hers while dealing normal Fight damage.
"Hey, I'm not through with you yet!"

Weapon: "Aeris Spina" (Bronze Thorns) - A pair of heavy metal gauntlets, colored a deep orange, that stop just short of her elbows with spikes protruding from each knuckle as well as two rows of three larger spikes lining the back of the arm. Underneath each, just behind the wrist, is a pair of high-power reels that hold a two meter long barbed metal whip. Whenever her Aeris Spina retract, they resemble a pair of particularly bulky fingerless gloves with the spikes retracted into smaller nubs on each knuckle and at the back of each hand.

Aura/Semblance: Kinetic Amplification - Amber can amplify the kinetic force behind her blows, not only making her hit harder, but even creating devastating shock-waves on impact, sometimes even passing through the target and forming a crater in the surface behind them. Amber's aura is a dark orange in color.

Extras: -Amber has two main additions to her team's dorm: A small, framed picture of her family when she was younger, as well as a large band poster for the F.L. Project, her favorite metal band.

-Regardless of uniform requirements, Amber prefers to keep her arms bare, so will often either roll up long sleeves, or go so far as to rip the sleeves off. Of course, this doesn't apply in winter.

Just to be cleared, while I know it's too late to entered as the players has been chosen but I still want to sumbit my character, maybe for future uses.

Tentative Name: Creme Magnum

Species: Human

High Concept: Battle mage in training. She is clam and caring when proving supporting spells to her ally but when she has to fight, she can become quite "aggressive".

Trouble: Siblings rivalry. She doesn't get along with her older brothers (two) and sister since they view her to be the weakest of their hunter family. Each of her siblings had went to different schools and had quickly became renown hunter and huntress. She strife to become better than those three combine.

Weapon: Grace Flambee (Souring Grace in french). (Staff/ Sword) It's a ornate staff with a small orb with a spike tip as the staffhead. Two pieces rotate and the top part can ejected or drawn out the blade, revealing the sword (the orb is the pommel and the lower staff is a scabbard in a way and the two pieces that rotate become the crossguard). She can also reconnect the sword (the pommel end to the top of the scabbard) to become a swordstaff [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swordstaff] allowing her to attack at range.
She used the staff for support/ range attack, the sword (and the scabbard as a blunt weapon) for close range/ melee attack and the swordstaff to fight at range.

Semblance: Time Judgement. Her senses (mainly her sight) will briefly become slower. This may seen to be a disadvantage but it actually allow her to reassert her situation. Her ability has saved her countless times as from everyone else perfective, it look like she had block/ evade/ counter/ escape a bad situation in time when for others it would of been fatal. She only used this in dire or life and death situation but she cannot used it in quick succession.
PM me if you want more details (I had worked on the second part of the character creation).

Name: Diamond Blauw
Gender: Female, 17
Species:Faunus, specifically badger
Appearance: Standing at around 5'8" and about 140 lbs, Di wears very functional clothes, her tight pants end mid-calf and are belted wtih a simple buckle, both black, tucked into them is another tight shirt, though blue, and her shoes are again simple, giving her maximum flexibility and the least inhibited flight experience, while she wears fingerless gloves(they do not match in style or color).

The rest of her isn't all that surprising, callouses and muscles from years of work and living as autonomously from Humans as possible. Her hair is mixture of black and white, cut short and away from her face, a bright green strap around it keeps the longest parts out of her vision and serves as a momento of her "family" and the Enclave she grew up in.

Personality: Diamond is not the most subtle of individuals, especially when it comes to interacting with humans, she will say what she thinks and believes if given any provocation, very rarely thinking of possible consequences. A loner through a mixture of happenstance and personal preference since, she stays in her own bubble for the most part, rarely letting anyone into it, but once they're in, they're under her protection until something forces them out of it.

She's done what she can to keep her past just there, in the past, and it hasn't been that hard, the airship incident believed to have been fully dealt with by the authorities, but she still looks over her shoulder from time to time because of it.

High Concept: Lead Initiator/Scout
Trouble: Trigger Temper and Highly Territorial

First Adventure: There's a better way

Diamond grew up in an orphanage of sorts, having been "rescued" from a normal human one by a splinter group of the White Fang that didn't approve of the reasons the current regime are doing things, but do continue to use their methods. Growing up within the Faunus that had built thier own society away from that of the humans was very hospitable for the most part, only a handful ever leaving to go "protest" for Faunus rights.

She grew up, formed her own group, and eventually they were inducted into the Protesting Branch of the enclave. They started out small, Pro-Faunus graffiti, breaking into empty anti-Faunus businesses, etc. and gradually moved up to the big leagues, where they were given a place to hit, a zepplin carrying some upper-class humans known to own businesses that employed Faunus workers while paying them very little in return for the most strenuous jobs in relation to their human counterparts. They decided on a course of action and put it into motion, under the guise of waiters, they infiltrated the airship and the ten of them took the ship hostage until the owners all complied with giving their Faunus employees raises across the board.

Unfortunately, the humans fought back and it got out of hand as deaths on both sides occured and it was all Diamond could do to escape with her life, her semblance being much of what saved her, though it had never been useful to her before now. Kicked out of the enclave for failing her assigned task, and the rest of her friends either dead or in jail, she'd lost everything before running into a Hunter under attack and watching from afar as they proceeded to win the fight against higher numbers and the admiration given them, instilling in her a way to continue her Enclave's ultimate, though flawed, goal of Faunus Equality.

First Interaction:Enemy of the Zaan Family
While aboard the airship with her fellow Faunus and the humans began to fight back, Diamond and the others were forced to kill a handful of the humans aboard. Unfortunately, one of them was a boy just younger than herself, Silber Zaan, an up and coming prodigy the family was proud to have with them to show off. Forced to stab him through the heart, the family is one of the few members of the Airship Incident to believe that Di was there, though they haven't been able to locate her, who she is, or her past due to the fact that she doesn't have one so far as paperwork is concerned and all ties with the Enclave she grew up in were cut.

Second Interaction Ex-Splinter of the White Fang: Although the Enclave Di grew up in were not fans of the White Fang despite both using similar strategies to get their messages out, they did originally start out as just another group of the Fang, before breaking off and making their own group of Faunus activists, though they continued to offer sanctuary to White Fang fugitives, as they were away from the prying eyes of the Human police for the most part and was a relatively safe place for them. After a particularly explosive affair and a small incident involving crashing into Grimm territory, a small group of these White Fangs came seeking shelter, among them an Owl Faunus, a type Di had not seen before and he stuck in her memory, though she never was able to talk with them, leaving for her own first real "protest" the next day.

Average Skills (+1):

Stunts:
Flying Leap: At the cost of a Fate point, Diamond can enter and exit any space in the zone of conflict, at the start of the leap and the landing, she spins her Icarians, using her normal Fight skill to deal damage to two squares of her choosing.
"CATCH ME IF YOU DARE"

Floating Strike: Again at the cost of a Fate point, Diamond uses both blades and rips a hole in her target using her Aura -2, should it hit, she and everyone else gains +4 to their Fight and Shoot against the target as it struggles to keep itself on the ground and not floating with no control.
"Not everyone can fly, you should be HAPPY"

Abduction: Fate point cost, after a successful Fight hit, but dealing no damage, Diamond can leap into the air with her unfortunate victim, dropping them after a turn, taking normal damage, but within a small area from their original position.
"We're going for a little RIDE"

Extras: Di doesn't carry much on her person and doesn't own many personal items, she has the clothes she wears, her Icarians, and a small pillow, that's it. Since being disowned by the only family she knew, she's never kept to a place long enough to feel like she needed to decorate it.

Weapon: Ivory Icarians

Housed inside two gauntlets covering her forearms are two sword blades, specifically detatchable falchions that can be thrown as returning boomerangs. Powered by White dust, the edges glow when thrown, extending and bending into the iconic shape, cutting through almost anything before returning to their gauntlet.

Semblance: Personal Levitation, Diamond's Semblance allows her to fly, though without the help of her Ivory Icarians, she doesn't have much control of where she goes.

Name: Jet Tylluan

Age/Gender/etc: 18, Male, Owl Faunus

Appearance: Jet has a wiry build and stands at average height. Being an Owl Faunus, his eyes are somewhat larger than the norm and resemble those of an owl. Another thing that marks his heritage are two feather ear tufts that emerge from his head. His hair is an unkempt mess, well, if all of it can be called hair anyway. Downy feathers hide amongst normal black strands, though they are most visible at the temple. Regardless, most of it is kept hidden under a beanie, not because Jet is ashamed of what he is but because just slapping a hat on is way easier than brushing that bird's nest. The beanie in question has a stylized talon logo on it and is rather worn. For casual clothing, Jet makes do with jeans and t-shirts - the winning combination for today's fashion-lazy youth - as well a jacket. These conceal small feathers on the underside of his arms as well as those which trail down his neck and shoulders.

Personality: Stubborn to a fault, Jet will only accept help in the most dire of situations - especially if it's from a human. To all folks, he can come off rather distant and gruff. Jet's view of the world is a highly cynical one, however, there is one small hope resting in his heart: that the fight against Creatures of Grimm can unite all humans and Faunus together once the two constantly bickering races manage to stop all see who the real enemy is. While there's no doubt that the Hunter Academies accept members of both races, there isn't really a fully united Faunus and human Hunter force - something Jet thinks needs to happen in the future. Nevertheless, he has little interest in anything not immediately related to Hunters or the White Fang. This is reflected in his rather lazy fashion choices and general lack of any hobbies apart from target practice and the likes.

Refresh:

[HEADING=3]Aspects[/HEADING]

First Adventure (what you gained/learned): Sudden Revelations - Jet was practically born into the White Fang, his father and mother both being part of the radical organisation, and quickly adopted their views. When his training was complete, he was given the Striges' Dirge (a piece of plunder from a raid) and his first big assignment, which went slowly. However, two years later, what appeared to be another simple mission shook Jet up. It was nothing special, just breaking into anti-Faunus establishments and setting off some fireworks, pre se. The former being the easy part, as soon as the explosives went off, innocents were harmed.

Jet could only watch their suffering from afar as he and the rest of the White Fang troops prepared to leave via Bullhead. Unfortunately, the extent to which the White Fang would go to wasn't the only unfortunate revelation of that day. A security drone managed to survive the explosion and shoot down the Bullhead, making it crash into the Ursa-filled wilderness. The Owl Faunus only managed to get back via using his Semblance and the indirect aid of some Hunters. That fateful day made Jet think about the bigger picture: the Creatures of Grimm hunted both humans and Faunus and both races could work together to rid themselves of the mutual threat. A vain hope, but he could make it happen in part by become a Hunter himself and the rest is history, so to speak.

First Interaction (what you gained/learned): Inadvertent Rescue - The Hunters were actually trying to rescue a convoy under attack by Ursi rather than some terrorist kid. However, even with the noise the crash of the Bullhead produced, the Creatures of Grimm largely ignored it as there was more prey to be found in the convoy. Back then, Jet had little idea of what Auras and Semblances actually were. He had little idea that his Semblance had kicked in as his fear and panic and concussion fogged his senses. For a while, Jet thought it was just a lucky break with a decent hiding spot. Nevertheless, the chaos on the convoy proved a good smokescreen for the teenager to slip under.

Second Interaction (what you gained/learned): Of Stares and Splinters - After the unfortunate incident, Jet and the other survivors sought refuge in a White Fang splinter group who called themselves The Conclave. One thing he half-remembers is some Badger Faunus who had constantly looked over his way during his stay. Nevertheless, Jet was tempted to join The Conclave, as they seemed like the White Fang but without the blatant disregard for human lives. However, The Conclave also seemed too... insular compared to Hunters and Huntresses. And so, as soon as he was able, Jet left without a word, to seek his own dream.
[HEADING=3]Skills[/HEADING]
Great Skills (+4): Shoot
Good Skills (+3): Aura, Stealth
Fair Skills (+2): Athletics, Notice, Will
Average Skills (+1): Physique, Fight, Investigate, Craft

Extras: N/A.

Stunts:

Owl's Wisdom - +2 bonus to Will when resisting mental stress, specifically that to do with panic and fear.

"He who hesitates is lunch."

I See You... - Can spent a Fate Point in order to make an attempt at spotting an enemy over two zones, horizontally, away.

"These eyes aren't just for show."

Uncanny Accuracy - Once per conflict, can stack an additional free invoke on an advantage Jet has created to represent the time Jet takes to aim or line up a shot (like In My Sights).

"Scoped and dropped."

Weapon: Striges' Dirge - A sniper rifle with a tripod always attached. Three wicked blades make up the tripod and the weapon can fold around to turn the gun into a trident.

Aura/Semblance: Night's Embrace - Can merge with shadows briefly, becoming invisible. Limited to shadow availability and only really has a use in stealth. However, it works even better at night.

Name: Jade Bordeleon

Age/Gender/etc: 18, Female, Human

Appearance: Jade is tall and gaunt with short, dark hair. She has a perpetual dark tan. Her eyes are bright blue. In terms of dress, she tends to dress conservatively and rather tomboy-ish. She prefers pants and a well-fitting shirt in dark colors and always has a full-body, hooded, camouflage cloak.

Personality: To say Jade is full of herself is an understatement. While she doesn't believe others are lesser than her, she has an ego that barely fits in the building and she bleeds confidence in significant excess of her skills. Part of this is that she feels she has a "lucky star" and part of it is she's worked extremely hard to become as skilled as she is. She can be harsh to those she feels aren't working to their potential, but has empathy for those who don't have the same luck she has. She hates the Creatures of Grimm with every fiber of her being and would like nothing more than to exterminate their kind though she hides this hate well.

Refresh: 5

[HEADING=3]Aspects[/HEADING]

High Concept: Lucky Ambush Huntress-in-Training - Similar in nature to Napoleon Bonaparte

Trouble: "Destined" for Greatness - Believes she's guided by a "Lucky Star" and can be very arrogant.

First Adventure: Broken Home - Jade was born in the northern reaches of Vacuo, outside the main cities. Back in those times, the area was considered largely safe from the Creatures of Grimm and supplied much of the agriculture for the kingdom. The area was filled with rolling hills and fields and pockets of trees. She was the youngest of a large family of farmers. Up until she turned 9, she expected to do the same and couldn't be happier. That was when the Creatures of Grimm returned to the area. Several packs of Beowolves set upon them that night. Having never encountered them in the area before, the nearest hunters were well out of reach. It was an unmitigated slaughter; hundreds of people gone; killed and taken for food. All but Jade died that night, spared only because the beasts had somehow missed her hiding in a storm cellar. It was then she decided, if she could somehow survive long enough, she'd exterminate the Creatures of Grimm by herself if need be. For the next few days, she survived by hiding and hunting by starlight. When the cavalry finally came a little over a week later, they took her back to the City of Vacuo. There, she joined one of the kingdom's battle schools. She worked without rest until she was one of the top students; better than even some of the so-called "noble" families.

First Interaction: A Stolen Ring - Toward the end of her time at the kingdom's battle-school, Jade lost the last connection back to her family. While she was practicing her craft in the woods outside the city, someone broke into her room and stole her mother's silver ring. While other rooms had been broken into and reportedly looted, Jade personally felt it was one of the upper-class, over-privileged jerks upset that some hick orphan girl with a bow could beat any of them in one-on-one. After failing to find the ring (and feeling the loss of her family all over again), she hardened and decided to never treat pompous upper class as anything special ever again.

Second Interaction: A Kindred Spirit - During her time in the battle school, another student transferred in. He wasn't the typical noble brat but he also didn't look like someone who'd worked hard to get in. Jade just assumed he was either extremely lucky or had the right connections and, in either case, wasn't her concern. Some weeks later, while she was headed for the archery range, she found him being beat up by noble jerks. Clearly he wasn't lucky or privileged anymore. Normally Jade would have stayed out of it, but even she couldn't stand to watch those spoiled kids win so she took aim and shot a few arrows in their general vicinity. She didn't hit any of them; but it was enough to get the warning across. The kid introduced himself as Mathias Steele and, as they got to know each other, they bonded over their similar life paths. Later, Mathias returned the favor and built Jade's dream weapon - Vertoile Arscie.

[HEADING=3]Skills[/HEADING]
Great Skills (+4): Stealth
Good Skills (+3): Shoot and Fight
Fair Skills (+2): Aura, Will, and Physique
Average Skills (+1): Lore, Investigate, Notice, Provoke

Stunts:
Tactical Acumen: Jade is extremely skilled at finding an advantage and exploiting it. For 1 Fate Point she can make a special check with a bonus equal to her Investigate, Lore, Notice, Provoke, and/or Stealth (as appropriate for the type of advantage) to add a +2 to one kind of combat roll for the remainder of the advantage's existence.

Deadly Precision: Jade can spend 1 fate point to grant herself +1 for each "round" spent aiming/preparing (to a max equal to her Shoot/Fight skill bonus)

Monster Hunter: Jade has a +2 on any Lore check made against Creatures of Grimm due to her specific training.

Extras:
Weapon: "Vertoile Arscie" - Chainsaw / Bow

Aura/Semblance: Lucky Stars - In addition to the normal effects of Aura, Jade's Aura offers her two distinct advantages. 1 she starts with a number of bonus fate points equal to her Aura score (effectively increasing her Refresh by the number). In addition, she can spend a fate point to roll twice for any check and take the better result. This must be declared to be used BEFORE the roll is made.

Name: Elva Dias

Age/Gender/etc: 17/Female/Human

Appearance: Slightly below the norm in terms of height, Elva has an average build for a girl her size and very pale skin. She wears her snow white hair short and messy and her bangs tend to fall over her bright blue eyes. These stand out vividly in her face, the contrast with her skin and hair making them even more noticeable than they would be otherwise. It is rare to see her without a cheerful smile and a twinkle in her eye.

Her usual outfit is a deep blue combat dress with gold trim. The skirt ends mid-thigh, with matching leggings and sturdy blue boots covering the rest of her legs. A cape hangs over her back with a white lightning bolt emblazoned upon it. Her light machine gun ammunition is stored in two pouches at her waist.

Personality: Extremely enthusiastic and boundless energy sum up Elva well. She loves to socialize and compete with others, and is more than willing to strike up a conversation with someone she's never met before. She gets bored and lonely when there's no one to talk to though, her greatest fear is that she'll end up all alone with nobody to remember or take care of her.

Combat is a passion of Elva's and there's nothing that she enjoys more than fighting creatures of Grimm or sparring with others. She throws herself into combat in a frenzy, attempting to overwhelm her opponents with furious swings of her axe or spraying them with a storm of bullets. If she sees someone is bullying or insulting someone else she'll often attempt to deal with them violently, without considering the consequences.

High Concept: Excitable Axe Girl
Extremely extroverted and enthusiastic, especially in regards to competition and fighting.

Trouble: Fear of Abandonment
Elva is terrified of being left alone. She draws her confidence and strength from the people around her.

First Adventure (what you gained/learned): Aspiring Huntress
During her childhood, Elva was travelling in a convoy between towns when they were attacked by a horde of ursas. Watching the carnage from inside her carriage, Elva was horrified as the creatures tore up the convoy with brutal efficiency. Eventually one turned it's attention towards her and launched itself at the carriage. She screamed and closed her eyes, but the shock of the impact never came. Hesitantly peeking out the window, she saw a team of hunters and huntresses combating the beasts. Elva stared in wonder as in no time at all the creatures were destroyed with grace, power and style. From that moment on she knew that one day she would become one of them, to be able to fight the creatures that threatened their people with such awesome abilities.

First Interaction (what you gained/learned): Sibling Bond
Ethan was not the only survivor of the dust explosion that resulted in the death of his parents. His twin sister Elva was there as well, and she only survived thanks to her brother shielding her from the blast and awakening to his semblance. The act of Ethan risking his life to protect her combined with the fact that he is the only family she has left, has resulted in Elva being incredibly loyal and protective of her twin.

Second Interaction (what you gained/learned): Faunus Sympathizer
As the daughter of dust miners, Elva has witnessed first hand the discrimination and cruelty that many Faunus have to suffer through at the hands of humans. As a child she never understood why this was, and as she grew up it turned into a firm disdain for anyone who looked down upon anyone just for their race. She sympathizes with the goals of organizations like the White Fang, even if she does feel their methods can be a little too extreme at times.
