Saddest Character Deaths

Whether it's the difficult murder of a person or creature by the player, a la Shadow of the Colossus, or your wingman being shot down in a tragic battle, I want to know which kills and deaths were the most tear-jerking for you.

I actually cried when Roxas "died" even though he didn't really die per say, he just sort of stopped existing... play the game or look it up, I don't really know how to explain it.

I recently played Infinite Undiscovery and found the death of the main character's close friends a bit unsettling, especially at how the main character has to fight enemies he can't directly fight and they both die right in front of him just inches away.

God this times 1000. Kamina is easily one of my favorite anime characters. I almost couldn't watch the nxt episodes and kept tryin to convince myself that he would some how come back.

The death of Xion in Kingdom Hearts DS. Xion was a shy, quiet, and generally kind individual, at least to the best of her ability. She had two friends in the world. One of them betrayed her and the other killed her. That second friend is incapable of remembering her name. She attacked him for the sole purpose of committing suicide. Namine's attempts to restore Sora's memories wreaked havoc on her sanity, probably pushing her to suicide in the first place. And to top it off, you know exactly what her friends' fates are if you played KH2.
