Simple enough, what is the saddest non-vocal song you've ever heard? I would have to go with Sadness and Sorrow which is used in the anime Naruto:

Fryderyk Franciszek Chopin, the man is a musical genius. He can manage to turn just a few notes into a beautiful masterpiece.


Then there's also this. Anyone who's played Ace Combat 5 knows it well and knows its significance... I break into tears every time I hear it.
