Besides the fact that they definitely seem WAY too skinny, somehow moreso than before, I'm definitely going to watch this. The animation, if nothing else, looks top-notch. (And I like the big-eyes, darnit!)

I still don't like the CLAMP designs, it makes them look too spindly.

And are they finally going to make these Sailor Scouts... you know, actual capable fighters? Because all they seemed to do in the original series was get their asses kicked like a bunch of girls, till Tuxedo Mask came and saved the day.

It was kind of like that. Sailor Moon herself always still got the final hit in, or else one of the other Senshi. There were plenty of arcs where TM was taken out of the plot entirely, as well.

But this will follow the manga more closely, where if I recall correctly, TM fought alongside them more often, rather than just swooping in and getting them out of a pinch all the time.

I'm going to give the show a shot of course, but the trailer didn't do much for me. It was basically just, "check it out, Sailor Moon and her pals". You'd think they would have more actual footage to tease considering it is coming out in like a month.

Yeah that's definitely an anime. Especially those massive eyes, holy shit I forgot how big they were.
Still I've never much cared for the series and I doubt this will make me, but it's nice to see something for the fans.

Can't remember much about Sailor Moon other than that they have powers based on planets, (I think?) and Tuxedo Mask was pretty rad. Been a long time since I've watched it. My sister was really into it as a kid. Still, this is neat for those who are fans.
