Saints Row: The Third Announced, Your thoughts and ideas

I loved Saints Row and Saints Row 2, the story was pretty good and the gameplay was fun and crazy when Grand Theft Auto 4 got too serious. So the story is set in another city because of the last DLC *Spoiler* Dex fled the city, and into that one *Spoiler* and The Saints are now a global criminal Organisation and they are now faced to destory another rising global organisation in the same city and mabey its Dex's gang. It will be in the next Game Informer, I think. I hope this game will be more kickass then ever and hopefully got a better story.

If Saints Row 3 is as big an improvement on 2 as 2 was on 1, then I dare say... SR3 could be one of the greatest, balls to the wallsiest, over the toppiest, naked car surfingest, mankini robberyiest, pure unadulterated funiest games of all time.

I have faith that it will.

I think we should be able to get customised boats, helicopter, planes, bases? and weapons thats the one they are missing and mabey some more awesome suits...

Me, I'm like the one person I know that significantly prefers the GTA series, but I dig a little realism in my games.
I don't know, I really wanted to like Saints Row 2, but it just didn't do it for me.
Still, if Saints Row: The Third (great name, by the way), is a large improvement, I'll consider buying.

I think the name is really creative, but one thing I loved about GTA 4 is the online thats what Saints Row could do better one, mabye have a freeplay mode that GTA4...

oh cool, was dex introduced in the DLC? because I dont remember him from saints row 2

Yeh and also when you phone him to get to Julius....you meet him in the last DLC, well not meet but phone..

I remember playing Saints Row over my friends house couple of years back, I didnt particularly got into Saints Row 2 (sorry!) however this new saints row game looks stunning, I like the idea of flying jets around against other jets and fight other gangs.

There really isn't much I'd change, except maybe some kind of city overrun with zombies thing... but that's getting old these days isn't it.

Awwwwwwwwwwwww hells yeah SR2 was one of my favourite games of all time. FUCK this is a great way to start my day.

I had only one thing bad to say about Saints Row 2: the combat was a little bit clumsy. Not as satisfying or visceral as, say, GTA IV. I especially would've liked more to do with the swords.

But that's it. Everything else was perfect.

And Saints Row 3 will be the same thing, but better.

I am so pre-ordering this when I can.
