With all of the must-have games coming out this holiday, how high is this on YOUR list?

I would say that it IS my list. There is a small footnote way at the bottom that says "Skyrim", but that's it!

When I first heard about a new Saints Row I was like "Eh, sure, maybe some day" because I didn't have that much fun with 2 to justify getting it over either Skyrim or Uncharted 3.

And then the Proff. Genki trailer came along.

And now this.

Well damn.

It's at the very top, and that helped it stay there for sure. I love how the first thing that basically happens is Gat gets stabbed. Gat can't seem to do anything without getting injured, so might as well get it out of the way in the very first cutscene.

Am I going nuts though or was Nolan North the voice of the Saints leader? He's in everything, maybe I'm just starting to think all voices are his.

Very low, did you play the PC port of the last game? My god was it awful, not even going to bother with the third game...

While I did enjoy the gameplay of Saint's Row 2, if I can't add some redeemable features to my character, I don't want to play The Third. At the end of 2, I wanted to throw my own character into a furnace and let him roast alive, then serve him to an unknowing Saint's, with several tons of c4 underneath them.

I'm all for sillyness, but it crossed the line. I know that the main selling point for the series is how silly and utterly nonsensical it is, but since it allows you to customize, I'd like to be allowed to have some redeeming aspects for my character.

Also, I did not see Maxwell Sheffield voicing Boss. It'd be weird to transition to The Third and suddenly not have the english accent.

#3 Dunno, I've pre-ordered the new Assassin's Creed game but I don't think it's due this year. Diablo 3 might come this year.

(For anyone wondering why skyrim wasn't mentioned, I'm waiting for the inevitable GotY edition.)

They scrapped the competitive multiplayer from SR2 in its entirety to focus exclusively on improving single player and co-op. So yes, like SR2, the entire game can be 2 player co-op.
