Samsung commercial has the Master chief

You got to admit, that guy has a lot of similarities to the master chief. Still, I don't think Samsung should be sued over this.

It could be some weird tie in to Reach. You gotta remember Samsung and MS have a close relationship. MS uses Samsung screens and promotes them as the best for 360 gaming.
Maybe that is a new Covenant ship type???

I have to admit, it's pretty clever. I mean it's not like Master Chief was standing in the advert going SPARTAN 117 approves! Still, there will be lawsuits up the ass...

If I had just seen that on TV I would have thought it was Master Chief. I think it's pretty cool but if that was just a rip off and not some type of tie in type thing Samsung is going to get sued by someone.

Hehehe, yeah that was my thoughts exactly when I saw that. Also, what up with all the commercials with action sequences that pan out to be shown happening in someones hand? I get the imagery of having the movie on a hand held device but when three or four (this one, one where a medieval battle is taking place in someone's hand, and Avatar are the ones I can think of right off the top of my head) all do this it kinda looses the effect.

Well, there's a fairly broad range of Spartans it couldn't have been. It couldn't for instance have been Spartan 087, or Spartan 130.

Reach comes out in less than a month. There's commercials. MS and Samsung are old buddies. It's been said there's ship combat in Reach, which we see here. Armor is just a different type.

and how do we even know it was a spartan II? the armor isnt an exact copy of the mark VI.
