Looks like a good time waster, and I was looking for something to exercise my skills with the keyboard anyway.
Thank goodness it happened to be an RP in such an expansive universe.
[b\]Name:[/b] Vasyl Salow. (Rhymes with "[i\]Basil[/i] the Marsh[i\]mallow[/i]."
[b\]Age:[/b] 30
[b\]Rank:[/b] Corporal
[b\]Appearance:[/b] When one thinks "heartless savage" one may conjure images of this man. A dirty, greasy, tall, lanky man with long black hair and a rather scruffy beard. (He is, however, unhappy his beard does not reach to his knees, it only comes [i\]just[/i] past the middle of his neck. A pity.) His face is drawn taut, his nose sharp with a pronounced bridge, and his jaw is trying to evolve into a shovel. His eyes are... disturbing. He still wears the various leathers and furs he ripped from the bleeding corpses of his prey on Dusk.
[b\]Planet of Birth:[/b] Dusk
[b\]Skills:[/b] Survival. Murder. Intimidation.
[b\]Previous Experience:[/b] He was born on the feral world of Dusk, a planet that hosts many flesh-eating intestinal diseases, insects that devour your face and lay eggs in your body that explode from your intestines when they mature, plants that strangle and maul you to death and release spores that enter your body and explode out of your intestines as thorny roots, more intestinal diseases, and is populated solely by predatorial animals. Which likely want to eat your intestines.
Vasyl made a living by slaughtering things for the local tribes and Imperial outposts, and not only that but [i\]thrived[/i] in the environment as well. (Mainly by [i\]eating[/i] the threats to his intestines.) On this planet he would be considered a very old, no, [i\]ancient[/i] man by the normal populace, as most barely lived long enough to even be born.
He learned many simple survival techniques, such as how to make things die, which he was very good at. He fervently believes that there is no problem that cannot be solved by either killing something or [i\]threatening[/i] to kill something. The locals only lived as long as they did because they kept giving Vasyl [i\]other[/i] things to kill besides them. Which there was plenty of.
Once recruited as part of the local Segmentum's manpower tithe, he proved to be a very useful, if violently defiant, soldier. He was taught the special ways to kill all of the Imperium's various enemies. Mutants with bullets, Heretics with fire, Xenos with heavy ordnance and bullets & fire, and every other enemy with a combination of the above tactics and some imagination.
[b\]Weaponry:[/b] Several large teeth turned into knives, a cumbersome axe built from starship scrap, and a stub-revolver. He does not, however, know how to reload it and is adamant to learning how.
I'll write up the introduction in a while.
