Sandwich Filling

What is your favorite filling to have in sandwiches? ;o

Mine would have to be meatballs and beetroot sallad.

Well my favorite sandwich is a Reuben, so sauerkraut and thousand island dressing, I suppose. However, my grandmother introduced me to cream cheese and green olive sandwiches. Makes my mouth water just thinking about it!

Personally I prefer to top my sandwiches with bread so it doesn't fall out.

But seeing as you mean fillings, uh, usually just cheese. Perhaps with different kinds of cheese mixed in for fun and then grilled.

Capicolo, Genoa, Bocconcini and tomatoes on a heavy Italian bread, grilled to perfection. *Drool*

I prefer plain bread with plain butter or cream cheese.

But for a sandwich, I like me some melted cheese.

The holidays are coming up, so this will be happening a lot in the months to come, but I love Thanksgiving leftover sandwiches. Turkey, bread stuffing and cranberry sauce. The tastiest.

There's also this sandwich place near where I live that makes a sandwich called "The Plymouth" and what makes it so delicious is the cranberry mayonnaise.

... I just really like cranberries.
