Toss up:
There was a sandwich shop back in Athens where, when you ordered a steak sandwich, they took a top-sirloin steak, chopped it up, added onions, mushrooms, and peppers (I have them add jalapenos as well), and then fry it up right in front of you and then jam it in a crusty french/sourdough roll with just a little mayo and provolone cheese. It will make your toes curl!
Out here in Seattle, there's a place called Grinders, and they have this thing called a SauBall grinder.
Homemade meatballs and succulent zesty Italian sausage grilled to lock in the natural juices and caramelize the outside. Bathed in marinara for a while, then ladled some sauce into an Italian roll, pack the sausage and meatballs on, and bury them with melted mozzarella and grilled onions.
Just looking at that sandwich will cause Atherosclerosis, but DAMN does it taste good.
...and now I'm craving one. Too bad they're not open on Tuesdays.
