Ummm I don't really go to a special place.. I just make them. The best sandwhich has to be turkey/chicken and stuffing. If not, a chicken sandwhich with crisps in it.

A Sandwich bread, butter, ham, cheese, cucumber, tomatoe and sometimes eggs, lettuce or something else random like bacon that can be found in the fridge. That plus the drink of gods known as coffee and a day just can't go wrong.

A good meatball sandwich is awesome! i dont like the heavy breads for sandwiches.. i tend to stick with sandwich loaves with a thinnish slice.... wholemeal or multigrain bread thats my choice.. but when im feeling fancy ill grill up a bagel or a foccacia 
My sandwich fantasy is more like this, while I'm stuck with one made of stupid cheese because there's nothing else in the fridge.

OT: I just go to Subway and just say "Go crazy". Nine out of ten times, I just get a blank look and then just order a sub that makes my mouth hurt looking at the picture, but it's worth that one time when someone smiles, makes a delicious abomination, and I end up with more sandwich for my money.

Alright here we go:
- Baguette, sliced lengthwise. Put a generous helping of sliced Emmental cheese on the bottom half of the bread and sliced grilled chicken on top of that. Bake both halves of the bread until the cheese is melted and the inside of the bread is warm.
- Add sliced tomatoes, onions, red peppers and romano lettuce on top of the chicken and cheese and spread some fresh tzatziki sauce on the top half of the bread.
- Garnish the sandwich with fresh ground pepper and cilantro, put both halves together and bam.
Hell yeah.
