Only a North Carolinian can truely understand how awesome a pulled pork sandwich is.

... I wish a Smithfield's was closer to me.

Ham cheese and tomatoes. I am a girl of simple tastes.

1) Lightly butter two pieces of bread.
2) But cheese on both pieces, a good hard cheese such as cheddar
3) slice tomatoes, but on cheese
4) put one slice of ham and press the two pices of bread together.

I also love, cheese with branson pickle, and lemon curd sandwiches

Reference for British people: I really miss greggs and their tuna sandwitches

Ham, lettuce and maybe some cheese if I'm in the mood. Shame I don't have them more often.

Reuben. Buttered rye bread toasted in a pan, pastrami (I prefer it over corned beef), sauerkraut and thousand island dressing.

I love corned beef as a meal, but pastrami tastes far better on a reuben.

My favourite sandwich is a good deli-style shmogey. A thick, crusty, toasted bun (An olive would be perfect) a big helping of warm, de-licious pastrami, a huge helping of fine cheese from the lands beknown to us simply colony-faring men of the empire!...*Ahem*, and to top it all off, an enormous amount of that spicy, serenely blended BBQ sauce which you can pretty much only buy

A-Off the internet
or
B-At the royal Easter show...In Sydney...from the fresh produce section.

Of course, I looove Subway, and my favourite there might seem odd but here goes.

A beautiful, herb and cheese of Italy encrusted bun of a perfect six inches, A carefully laid, strip of our finest, fattest steer, picked from prime and made into petite ball form, topped with a serene helping of spice-juvenated toopping, enfusing all the flavours of our most furthest reaching colonies. Lashings of fine cheeses, fresh from the nether regions of homeland Europe, delicately spiced, exotic meats of the label, Pepe-roah-nae. And to finish the most exquisite balance of this most astounding culinary creation, a fine blend of spiced oils, condensed sea-salts, and of course ground black pepper-stone, a most wonderful blend of infusing, exotic aromas to tingle the mind, relax the senses, and indulge the tastebuds. YUM!

The greatest sandwich I ever ate was one I bought from Somerfield.

It had Fajita chicken, Monterey Jack Cheese, sliced peppers, soured cream and dark lettuce leaves in a sub roll.

It was like an orgasm between two pieces of bread. Shame you can't get them anymore.

1) Fried Catfish Sandwich that I make myself
2) Catfish, lettuce and tomato
3) Buy fish from local place cause it is fresh, rinse off, and soak in milk.
In separate bowls, fill one with fish dip, fill one dish with a dark beer, and the other with wet dip(heavy cream and egg). Take fish out of the milk and dip it into the wet dip, then place in fish dip. Take out of fish dip and put in beer. Take out of beer and do a final coat in the fish dip. Place your fish in hot oil and fry. Place on bread or roll of choice with tomato, splash of lemon juice, lettuce and
4) Homemade Tartar sauce.
5)Some things can not be defined by us mere mortals. Your awesomeness is one of these things.

Classics - Club, BLT, Reuben.

In my area though there is a place that makes a BLT supreme. Bascially it means more bacon and the addition of guacamole (which I like to pronounce Gwhack-a-mole secretly for my own amusement)

Also I like a good Dhingy. Which is a fancy term for a turkey sandwich with cranberry sauce in it.

But my favorite, because there isn't a Greek place within 10 miles of me is a gyro. A warm pita, lots of lamb and feta, dripping with tzatiki with some hummus on the side...this whole thread is making me really hungry >_<

wheat bread - toasted
some easily melted strong cheese
bacon
bacon
bacon (if your a woman stop here, if a man then repeat the last three steps again)
chicken, preferably a big juicy barbecue seasoned breast
bacon
more cheese
finish whit another piece of bread

oh and if you want ive heard that some people put vegetables in these things too, but it can easily be replaced by bacon, and so can the bread.

The almighty Reuben!!

I'm not actually a fan of corned beef, but I tasted one of these when I was in Vegas I think, and it totally blew me away. I love sauerkraut, but it's like a toasted sandwich on rye bread, piled high with corned beef, sauerkraut and melted cheese, topped with Thousand Island dressing.

So good. I actually registered for a forum account just so I could post how good it is...
