she is not smart, how is she even popular!)
Was Bush Jr smart? :p
Did he bring our country through 9/11 and a war and still manage to keep our economy somewhat stable?(the answer is yes)
I won't get hugely involved since it's very trendy to bash Bush. I'm not one of those people
thank jehova

I don't see what 9/11 has to do with him apart from giving the Bush administration another excuse to go to war.
it's not just the bush administration, the terrorists in the middle east have been attacking us since before reagan's time, although then it was because we nursed their former ruler(who they hated, carter was president at the time) but thats beside the point. So that war was a culmination of about 30 years of brewing frustration. also 9/11 was a large catastrophe which could have crippled us due to the fear of the american people, but because bush decided to stand firm and fight back then we united again and became THE POWER RANGERS UNITE! as well as a world power. although being in iraq has always been about the oil. plus hussein was a jerk

A war that isn't over despite what he says.
what? despite what who says? bush is out of office and never claimed that it was over, although obama did say its over and that we're
pulled out but really we're not, because we still have "non-combatants", although there is not anybody to fight.

1.It's widely debated but I don't feel that 9/11 had some masterful clean up plan. I believe you CANNOT give credit to Bush for the way it was handled. America would not have fallen because of one attack and NYC firemen were the heroes of that day.

2.You mention that it was "always about oil" as if that is a perfectly fine reason to go to war. I don't remember the Power Rangers infiltrating oil rigs or any oil related activities.

Basically your making this about the "fighting evil" stuff which is deliberatly vague.

It's strange to me that this gaffe has any traction.

A misspeak is a misspeak, not a lack of knowledge.

A typo is a typo, not a misspelling.

For all the legitimate reasons to criticize Palin as a politician it really hurts your case when you portray a misspeak as if it's a lack of knowledge, when it clearly is not.
