I know I sound crude in saying this, but Sarah Silverman is the kind of girl I'd tap and tap hard, but never bring home to the family because she would succeed in alienating everyone, including the neighbors who weren't even there at the time. I liked her on Greg the Bunny, and as an actress when she's not writing her own lines, but as a comedian.....nah.

I do feel a strange need to stand up for Carlos Mencia though. I think he's frikkin hilarious, and have watched all those youtube "examples" of him taking other peoples jokes and have found that......well, he really hasn't. Either A)The subject matter was the same, but both the punch-line and delivery were different or B)Joe Rogan is a whiny ***** because he didn't make it as big as Mencia.

That show is probably the most awful piece of garbage I have ever seen on Comedy Central. Apparently her particular brand of humor is acting like an arrogant moron.

I like parts of her show due to its bizzareness, and Brian Posehn, Brian Posehn is hilarious... But her standup is rather lackluster.

She has some funny moments, she goes for the shock factor a lot of the time and after you've seen that once it gets a bit boring.

It's a matter of taste. I may just be a sensationalist, but she can be quite funny. She's in the same vein of comedy as South Park, I think.

That said, I prefer quieter, more sarcastic comedians like Dylan Moran or Bill Hicks [debatably 'quiet']

Only any good in the video for 'Death to all but Metal' by Steel Panther.

Steel Panther are fucking hilarious though. It wasn't so much her, as Steel Panther themselves in that video. In fact her part at the end is rather stupid and terrible.

OK, what little I've seen of her has made me laugh. I still watch her "I have a dream" joke occasionally. Makes me smile every time. Also, yes, I would, I really, really would.

I prefer darker/surreal comedy, though, stuff like Dylan Moran and Jimmy Carr.
