This is Voodoopigs' third RP, and StarStruckStrumpets' second, so we can assure you that you're in safe hands. The opening takes place on 6th June 1944 (D-Day for the uneducated). Introduction posts aside from ours can be from any major battle in time...(do your research), you will be fighting when a mysterious vortex appears above your heads, and you are transported to an unknown realm. We will take it from there. Chaaracter sheets will be placed in spoiler boxes on your intro-post.
10 spots are available.
Name: Harry Mason
Age: 26
Height: 5"10'
Appearance: Short brown hair, scrawny in physique. Blue eyes and a dark goatie.
Nationality: American
Era: WW2
Intro Battle: D-Day
Bio: Harry Mason volunteered to join the forces when he saw a poster stapled to a telegraph pole. It seemed so cheerful being in a squad, but when it came to it, it was dull, depressing and wet.
Here is my intro post:
It rained heavily on our small boat, the men looked scared and pathetic. Some vomiting over the side of the boat. I stared Captain Thomas who seemed on edge.
"30 seconds till th-" Before he could finish his sentence his head burst like a ripe watermelon that had been hit with a hammer. The German snipers had already caught us in their sights. The boat reached the shore and we disembarked. Men were dying everywhere, we were extremely out-classed. I felt a tear in my skull, it wasn't a bullet, but it felt just as painful. I looked around and people were warping and stretching, above me was a deep, purple vortex. I floated upward and was sucked inside it, others inside of the vortex were being torn and mangled, yet I stayed the same. Everything went dark, but I was still aware of my surroundings. I was still concious...
1: I want everyone to write in first person, so when you post it will be like the character's personal slice of the story.
2: Use spoilers for OOC(out of character) posts so the Rp doesn't get broken up.
3: Don't control other characters speech, only their actions.
4: Players that are in-active for more than 2 weeks will be killed off gruesomely.
5: Be creative.
6: Put effort into your posts. Describe as much as you can to give your fellow players an idea of what your location looks like.
7: No God-modding.
8: No more than two characters from the same era.
