I just don't like what WoW BECAME. How piss easy everything was made. That being said, I have no idea. I'm in a rut myself.
A lot of things were indeed made piss easy. However, not EVERYTHING is piss easy. There's still extremely challenging raid content, they just tiered everything.

Sounds like WoD is looking to bring back actual challenging 5 man content, for which I am grateful.
That's what they said/did with Cataclysm and the reception was pretty bad. I mean yea quite a few people liked it, but enough of the player base hated it to warrant massive nerfs before Tier 12. Unless they come up with a better system I highly doubt that will happen again.

To the OP. If you like WoW so much and don't mind paying then just play what you want. In terms of MMO content WoW is pretty much as good as it gets. If you want something more specialized or niche then you might want to looks elsewhere.

For single player. have you tried CIV V yet? XCOM? Watchdogs just came out so there's that too.

The problem with Cataclysm was they attempted to bring BC level heroic difficulty to a LFD environment. People queued having no idea what they were in for, wiped, and screamed about it on the forums, and Blizzard over-corrected. They learned their lesson. WoD Heroics will require a silver medal for your chosen role in the proving grounds before you can even queue for them.

LFD/LFR normal will remain piss easy for ultra-casuals who just want to look around while thumbing a button. Flex raiding is now 'normal' raiding, and Mythic raiding goes in for the 1%.

Good grief. At what point do we accept that 10 years of monstrous genre-busting success indicates that WoW is actually a pretty good game and that it's okay to enjoy it?
There are two kinds of people in this world. The ones that play WoW and enjoy it and the ones that don't play WoW and ***** that it was only good in Vanilla.

The second one is a camp divided by those that actually played Vanilla and the ones that just pretend they did to sound cool.
