My god, putting the game questions with the movie and books? I would have done fine, if not perfect, with the knowledge of the movie and the books (which I believe were not present enough, aside from the Hobbit).
The "impossible" was easier for me, got 100% on first try. The normal I was 9/10 on first try, but it took seven tries to figure out the battle for middle earth II question. The first one sucked so bad I never even thought of playing the second.
There were too many questions on LotR games and movies characters. Also the linage junk is pretty cheap. I bought the supermassive all-three-books-in-one-plus-every-note-Tolkinson-ever-wrote-with-ring-written-on-it-edition book and looked over some of that linage stuff. The fictional history is massive and boring and the the lineage is a snooze-fest.
Oddly, I did about the same on both quizzes.
too many questions that have nothing to do with lord of the rings story ie the narrative. What has the level cap got to do with lord of the rings? Nothing. You may as well ask what graphics engine it uses
EDIT: just did the impossible quiz, got 80% first try and then took 5 trys to figure out lotro questions. NOT a good quiz
Don't worry guys, we may be bring you a quiz down the road which will only contain questions based on the books. You can flex those geeky muscles once again.
